Bmw interior lighting strips
This is must have for any BMW F30 Owner. I bought this originally for my 2016 328i and it fit perfectly. This also fits my 2017 f30 330i I have now. Easy mod and makes a huge difference. My friends always think Its OEM and they compliment how good the interior looks at night. Totally improves the look and makes it look more like a space ship haha

Ambient Interior Light Mod – Let There Be Light…Strips
Ambient Interior Light Mod – Let There Be Light…StripsI own a pre-LCI 335i. Truth be told, I didn’t even know that I had any ambient lights hidden within the cabin doors until I came upon various YouTube videos that talk about this product. The BMW lighting engineers must have completely underestimated (by a factor of 1000) the level of luminescence required to trigger the ambient “cool factor”. The pre-LCI’s ambient lights are just incredibly dim (which is why I had never even noticed that the car had them). When I saw the YouTube video, I literally ran out to my car, turned on accessory mode and the parking lights, and then had to look (per the video) to verify that there was indeed lighting there. Whadyaknow? That was a complete surprise to me. I then knew immediately what I had to do. And, I am now excited to be a member of the Ambient Light Mod Club. Some quick thoughts (beyond the opinions of that vlogger):1. The lighting effect seems consistent from one end of the strip to the other (the various YouTube videos don’t really convey that). I was concerned that lighting along the plastic strip would be uneven, but the look is clean.2. Because the ambient lights are dim to begin with, these strips can only amplify the light so much. You’ll probably say, “hey, that’s cool.” But, you won’t say, “WOW!”3. Among the plethora of interior mods you can perform, this one (considering the low cost / easy 10-minute install / visual appeal) provides good value for the impact.4. In the daytime, these aftermarket strips are pretty unnoticeable. I measured barely 2 millimeters of plastic that shows itself and I doubt that even the most discerning owner would even notice.Hey, what a simple and elegant upgrade! This enhancement is not only inexpensive but universally lauded by those who have invested in it. And I too now am a fan. Mod On!

Good product
It’s good to enlarge the lightening effect, only problem was really confused where to squeeze the product in at the beginning, but after you get the hang of it, it went pretty smooth with the install.

Great experience check video and pic
The media could not be loaded. Install takes 5 mins or less on my 2018 BMW 340I M sport, which may or may not have brighter lights then a base or older models. I will need to trim to make flush.. which sorta sucks cause I don’t want to mess it up. I haven’t cut anything yet and decided to install and post videos and pics of what it looks like. I’m leaving 5 stars! 10/10 product! I do like it and I would recommend. If you’re looking for more of an ambient line, going across the door card rather than light shining down then this is it. Small difference but noticeable. If product not in stock then wait for it to come back into stock, I know I’m happy I did. Thanks seller I now have the ambient lighting I was looking for at an affordable cost.

Very disappointed
I have purchased many items from Amazon and I’m rarely disappointed. However, I’m disappointed with this purchase. The light strips were easy to install. I noticed that the light strips don’t flush with the front door and they seem bigger than what they should be for the back doors. I have a 2012 BMW 328i. I don’t know if maybe this doesn’t fit my car but I put in the light strips and they do not light much. The only way they light up a lot is if I adjust the light to max but than everything on my dashboard is super bright. Even then, it’s not super bright. I would suggest others to purchase this if they have a 2012 BMW 328i.

BEST BEST BEST upgrade for so little $$$$
Let me start by saying I never leave reviews (awful I know) but I had to for this one!! I just bought my BMW and there are SO many upgrades and mods, but few (if any) are inexpensive, able to be done yourself, and won't damage the interior/exterior if you either mess up or decide you no longer want them. These were SO simple to install. It took a few seconds to figure out which way the correct direction, but once you figure it out they take about 1 minute/door. I will be honest and say that I was hoping for the best, but expectations were low due to the simplicity of install and pieces. I am floored!!!! I installed these outside (because I needed more light, & I wanted to be sure the strips were not visible during the day), so of course I could not see how well they worked, but the minute I pulled into the garage and turned out the lights - the change is EPIC!!!! It honestly looks like I actually installed new LED ambient lighting. These fit seamlessly under the door's trim, are lit evenly and without any "dead" or dim spots. Also just in case you are wondering, this does come with four strips, so the rear doors match the front. If you are on the fence, pull the trigger!

Did not survive the summer heat...
I really like these strips but not the price, but since I am a typical guy that buys useless items for his car there you go. Overall I would give these 5 stars since the overall affect is pretty awesome, but I got them in December and since summer (in the south) - May 2021 to present, August - they have fallen out every time it gets parked in the parking lot at work in the sun. Come out after work and 2 or three of the strips are laying on the seat or the floor board. I have yet to find a way to make them stay. The little snap-in channel is still in tact but is not holding them in any more on hot days. The ONLY door without the issue is the driver's door which is opened and closed the most times since I am generally driving alone. I drive @ 45 miles a day round trip on country highways so there are bumps along the way. They stay in. It's after it's been hot in the car. I have nearly black tinted windows, a windshield pop-out screen thing and on non-rainy days leave the windows cracked and the sun roof popped up. I am a few steps from super gluing these things in but REALLY do not want to do that to the car. Love to hate them especially when I run an errand and they are in place but by 6 pm when we close they are back on the seat/floor boards. :(
