Pumpkins are great fun to grow with children. They are easy to cultivate, but need a sunny position, plenty of water and shelter from cold winds. One of the finest sights of autumn is colourful pumpkins ripening in the sun. Once harvested, pumpkins can be used in delicious soup and for roasting.Instruction how to grow Pumpkins:Turn the soil with a spade or tiller to break up any large clods and remove any rocks in the bed. Work the soil to a depth of 6 to 8 inches.Spread 1 to 3 inches of compost over the loosened soil. Till the compost into the loosened soil to improve the drainage and nutrient quality of the soil.Create a 12-inch-high mound down the center of each row by pulling the soil up from between the rows. Make the mounds 8 to 12 inches wide. Space rows six feet apart for large pumpkin varieties and four feet apart for smaller plants. Alternatively, create 18-inch-diameter mounds spaced at the same distance as rows.Sow the pumpkin seeds 1 inch deep in the prepared mounds. Space seeds four inches apart down the row or plant them four inches apart around the outer rim of circular mounds.Water the pumpkin bed so the soil in the mound remains moist. Once the seedlings germinate and begin growing, water once or twice a week to provide 1 to 2 inches of water each week.Thin the seedlings once they germinate. Leave the strongest two or three seedlings on each circular mound or space the seedlings 12 to 18 inches apart down a mounded row.Package includes: 0.16ozWe are not include text instruction in English, but if it's needs please request it (you can just type text "INSTRUCTION") and we will send to you via 's messenger.
