First of all, let me please explain that my cat is a Maine Coon mix. He’s a big boy at 12 lbs and I was skeptical when buying these that they’d fit his paws since Maine Coons are notorious for big paws. Also, since he IS so big, he’s an ABSOLUTE TERROR to have to bathe. I ordered these because more often than not, it would be a literal blood bath. (My blood, obviously. Groomers aren’t an option when fleas are involved.)When I put them on, we processed slowly and he started to ignore that they were there. His toes mostly fit and I was pleased. He does have the weird 5th/6th toe deal so after I noticed, we re-adjusted and proceeded to hell. Well, when the water got involved the booties fell off multiple times, despite my making sure that the Velcro was tight enough without hurting him. Also, his toes easily escaped from the slits in the sides so I did still have to dodge some stealthy claws.All-in-all, this company is onto something but improvements could be made. Perhaps another little Velcro strip towards the bottom to prevent toe slipping or making a slightly larger size for cats with bigger paws and extra toe beans. (And claws.) I managed to escape blood, but it didn’t minimize having an MMA match with Larry the boxing (with mini-knives) cat like I was hoping.Shown is the calm before the storm. Larry was not harmed and was happily purring away once dried.

Once I'm able to catch one of my cats, these paw covers are so easy to put on them. When you do put them on, you do have to make sure that their whole paw is in the bottom as I would get a stray claw that would always stick out on the side. Once fully in, I just wrap the velcro strap around and it's on. Even when wet, these covers do not come off. This has made bathing, brushing, trimming nails and even getting mats out so much easier. Even with all the moving and fussing they do, these covers stay put. Since using these, no more scratched up arms or legs. My cats were mad at me for awhile but my arms and legs don't look like a scratching post anymore.

I am 82 and got a 6 week old kitten! I love her but she is young, strong, and smart but this didn't work for Snowball but she's a tough costumer and I'm not what I used to be! I gave the booties to the cat as a toy. she liked them!

One of my cats has allergies and gets hot spots often. This last time was a pretty bad one just past her chin in a perfect spot for her to scratch at it with her back feet. After a week with the dreaded cone (and 2 times of getting out of it and scratching the spot open again) I was ready to try something new.I found these and after asking about the white strip I was ready to give them a try. (Seller is great btw, very quick response to my question!) They arrived today and I am extremely happy with my purchase. They come in a little storage box just like the picture. The material is very soft, it does have a slight smell to it but that's to be expected.My cat is 11 lbs, her feet are about 1.25" wide. These fit her just fine with plenty of room to adjust the velcro to be tight enough to stay on but not so tight that it cuts off circulation.

I would highly recommend these. I used them on a cat when I needed to shave mats off her. This cat is very difficult to handle. I am usually bitten and bloodied up trying to groom her. These kept her from tearing my flesh with her claws. They do have a hole in the bottom of them which I wish was not there, but I'll put duct tape over the outside of that so her claw can't slip through. Even still, I am so very thankful for this product. I would recommend it and I would buy it again myself. They were easy to put on her. You can spread them apart to get them on the paws. She did manage to kick one of them off. I'm really surprised they were able to stay on her at all. I think they are well made and get the job done.Thank you for a good product!

I love my fur babies, but what I dislike is getting all scratched up when it is their bath time. Yes, I know that cats bathe themselves, but I like for them to smell good and shed a lot less because they are inside kitties. I am so thankful that I for these anti-scratch cat shoes, or as we call them in our house kitty boxing gloves, because they look more like boxing gloves than shoes. Anyways, if you have fur babies and you like to bathe them then you are going to absolutely loves these, I promise it will be the best investment you made for fur babies bath time. Take my word for it if you are tired of getting scratched then you will want to get a set, because you will not get one more scratch at bath time!

These actually were a super great and easy solution. First time ever bathing kitty without getting clawed to death ! She did manage to slip them off when they got wet but I could put them back on pretty quickly . She will kick them off in I let her go while I'm wearing them also . I think they served their purpose though

My cats easily remove these mitts. They also hate it but that was expected. Its easy to clean and gentle on them. Perhaps I am not putting it on tight enough... If you are concerned with your pets claws, this is a great way to avoid them during brushing teeth time.
