Pelican Go G10 Case - Waterproof Case (Slate/Teal)

Leaks, leaks, leaks!No matter what, it leaks water in. I have taken this tubing twice now. Leaked water in both trips. I have been very cautious of the case sitting in water. Doesn’t even have to come in contact for a few seconds and all the items inside are wet!Total pos! Would return if wasn’t past the return period but only a short time!Buyer beware! POS!

The photo shown on the product listing demonstrates that a passport fits inside the case. This is not true. You can bend an maniplulate your passport to fit inside but the tray will no longer fit and the case will not close. I only bought this to keep my passport and phone in and it is useless to me now.

Ordered this for a vacation at the beach. Wanted something to hold my phone, hotel key and some cash, while out on the beach. Prior to leaving I decided to test its waterproof claims. Well, it failed. I ran a sink full of water and submerged it for about 30-seconds. Upon opening it, it had a couple ounces of water in it. Returned the item to Amazon thinking I received a dud - replacement unit did the same thing. We wound up taking it to the beach anyways and just did not put it in the water.

Bought this to protect my phone while riding on a trail, hiking, etc. You know... manly stuff. The Pelican G40 fits around my precious Oneplus phone like a glove. An armored plastic glove. The phone sits flat inside the case and even works with the divider tray with room to spare for a thin wallet or keys. The phone would fit loosely without the Popsocket and Ringke case. I didn't buy it for the water proofing but to have a crush proof container to carry with me.

Fits an iPhone XS Max nicely, but a passport is too wide (even at an angle without the phone insert the passport is bent).Plastic does not quite look to be the top-notch pelican material.Otherwise decent case, seal seems fine. Would rather buy a non go series case next time.

ive got a couple of these cases, and they are great.till I got the G40C charge case. bought that one directly from Pelicanthe case itself is fine. the charger works well as long as the strap remains intact.the charger body strap and the customer service are whats lacking.so I took this out on a 5 day kayaking camping trip.its reallly hard to pull the strap tab loose to put the phone on it and strap it back down.just trying to push the phone under the strap seems to stress it too much.at any rate, the little bar at the end of the strap that keeps it 'secure' to the charging base,well that bar broke on the second day, so there was no way to hold my phone securely to the charger for the rest of the trip.I got home and went to file a warranty claim. there was no G40C in the list you have to select from. so I had to select a regular G40 and then make sure they understood the issue was the G40C.they made me take pics of the broken strap bar.then instead of just sending me a new strap, they made me pay the $20 bucks at USPS to ship the ENTIRE thing back to them.then I waited. and waited. two weeks later I got a notice that they were shipping me a new item.however, instead of a G40C, it listed them shipping me just a regular G40.I called them , gave them my original order number, RMA info and all and told them whats going on. The guy said he'd call the returns department and make sure they send me the right one.well they didnt. a week later I got a G40 in the mail.had to call again. they emailed me a shipping label and then finally shipped me the right product after I sent the one they mailed me, back to them.took over a month to get this taken care of.they also charged me another 5 bucks to mail me the new one.so it cost me $25 bucks (20% of the purchase price) and over a month of time, because of a broken strap retainer.they could have just tossed me a new strap in the mail and been done with it.the case is great. the strap retainer bar is crud. and their customer service/warranty is a joke.just beware what its gonna cost you if this thing goes south on you.

Ok so this case is Outstanding FOR MY USE! I use it for a travel humidor for my cigars. This is perfect for 4-5 sticks on a overnight trip or a day/night out. I also have the Pelican 1170 case that I use for longer trips and it holds 15 or so sticks and some accessories with the way I have it setup. I looked into some of the other brands that were specifically made for cigars but knowing that pelican makes the quality product that the industry copies off of I decided to go with pelican. Plus it’s pelican so it’s cool lol! The look is different than all the others. More up to date and modern styling. Not that that matters to everyone but it does to me. I don’t even use the insert but it is nice! There’s a small hole that releases air when you close it to balance the pressure and then when you clip it in there’s an O Ring that seals off the small hole. Great little design. There seems to be a decent deal all the way around also. My Boveda packs hold very nicely in this case! Then when I get home I just put them back into my big humidor to recharge them for the next use. Now I don’t see a pressure release valve but I cant see me flying with this when I have my 1170 that can hold 15 or so sticks comfortably. Only flaw to me is that the hinges seem a bit loose. I’d prefer to use more force to open and close the case. Just a bit more stiff would be perfect. But it is smaller and more consumer grade than the stiffer and tougher 1170.Don’t let this detour you though! This is still a pelican product so it’s plenty tough and very well made. Icing on the cake is that it looks awesome! If you don’t want to pay the price you should check out pelicans micro series. The 1040 is a great option also! I just saw the G40 and had to have it! That’s all I got! ✌🏽

Used this last weekend while tubing in the Guadalupe River. Not big enough for cell phone (but I knew that in advance) - great for credit cards, ID, cash, keys. Survived several dunks underwater (rough ones) and not a drop inside - couldn't ask for more. Note that you will need to add a neck strap yourself - again, I knew that in advance so I cannot dock a star for that.

Top class tough case for my priced GRIII Street addition. Worth the wait importing this into UK. Quality is undeniable. Reassuring water tight drop proof case for all those places you’d worry about your kit.

Love Love LOVE this case.Took it in swimming with my phone and my car keys and they were perfectly dry! Attached it to my float and didnt worry about it. Even whe the waves knocked the float over.

Me gusto mucho, tenía mis dudas por comentarios sobre qué tiene fugas, hice pruebas sumergiéndola en agua y todo excelente, un case para proteger tu teléfono audífonos y llaves, tengo que mencionar que el espacio interno es un poco reducido pero si sabes administrar bien el espacio te servirá súper bien para llevarlo contigo a cualquier aventura que implique entrar al agua y en cuanto a protección contra golpes un plástico altamente resistente y sella perfectamente bien.

I bought this to carry my phone, keys, wallet, etc. (all the pocket stuff) in one place that I then pop into my backpack for mountain biking. This case is perfect and I know that if I crash that at least my phone and other things won't get destroyed. It's also waterproof so everything is safe from an opened drink or a fall into the water.
