Claymation Studio Deluxe Create Stop Motion Video Includes Clay

I purchased this software to create stop motion claymation movies. The description on the box states that you can capture images using a digital camera, webcam or DV camcorder then apply small changes and add background images and music to create your own claymation movie. I cannot speak for webcams or DV camcorders but the editing features such as onionskin, rotoscope and chroma key do not work with digital camera images. I wrote Honestech and they confirmed what I had discovered after already opening the box. Nowhere on the box did it indicate that digital camera images were not able to utilize the full features of the software. I was not able to determine the limitations until opening the box and trying it out. Now I am out of the $42.99 I paid for a useless piece of software. The software does nothing more with digital camera images than you can most likely do with software already provided with your PC which is what I had been using (Windows movie maker). I am very disappointed please don't get burned like me, don't buy this software. The lowest rating I was able to give this was 1 star, it wouldn't let me put zero stars or I would have.

Yes you read that right, this product its ok nothing beyond extraordinary, its just a computer program for a 3 years old boy or girl. If you are looking for somthing more professional is better you make a better search before buying this one. I dindt like it at all if i new that is was worst than the Window Movie Maker ( than already is installed on every single Windows PC on earth) i hadnt bought, but well its ok , shame on me. Also the Clay (playdoh) is horrible come just 4 units than u cant barely make something with itIts 1 out of 5 stars, sorry save your money

We returned the software when we could not get the video cameras to work. After trying three different formats and calling the company, we were left with no choice. The company provided no help and didn't seem to care that the software wouldn't operate a camera. We considered a camera an essential part of live action video creation. Silly us.
