Vocabulary and grammar help
This book is very helpful with vocabulary and it has different conjugations for verbs (Which I have had a hard time finding a book that was simple enough to follow) It’s really explanatory and it has the English transliteration beside the Arabic word, so if you aren’t sure how to pronounce something the English letters can kind of give you an idea. I highly recommend this book if you’re a beginner level arabic.

Excellent Resource, Worth Every Penny
This book is a tremendous resource for anyone attempting to tackle Arabic grammar. The table of contents is very clear and it is easy to reference anything you need help with. This isn't a book for beginners, but it is simple enough to educate without intimidation. If you need a quick reference resource, this is a quality book!

Excellent for Self-Study!
I really like this book. It has transliteration into English of all the Arabic, even in the exercises. This is good for me, since I never totally mastered the alphabet in my basic studies. It's organized into useful sections, treating the tricky grammatical topics I need to learn better. I've even laughed out loud at some of the humor he puts into the writing.

Could have been much better.
This book was a huge disappointment. It's so cluttered in it's organization that it makes it difficult to find what you need. When you do find what you need I think that it fails in a number of instances to clarify. The index needs some work. There are some helpful examples with answers, so it's not a total loss. I found Modern Standard Arabic Grammar by Hassanein a better reference manual.

Arabic for dummies? I'm no dummy
It was brand new and the pages were in good condition no ripping and for a good price. I got it for my mom and she loves it.

Excellent/Outstanding
Excellent book for learning the Arabic language and this is coming from a person who is a native speaker of Egyptian dialect. I believe my children who aren't as solid in their Arabic will benefit from the grammatical explanations here.

Very Simple
This book did not turn out to be what I expected. The section on handwriting especially is useless. Arabic letters are written with parts above and below the line and it's impossible to figure that out from the information given because the letters are not written on lines. The rest of the sections are also very basic. I think this book would be best for travelers to the middle east. It is not of much use for students wishing to learn formal Arabic grammar.

Poorly printed
Great great book BUT very poorly printed! For Arabic learners we need to see all the dots, lines and other details around the letters and unfortunately the way it’s printed many vowels are smudged into the word or too hard to read, for instance if thereIs two characters like a shadda and a kasra for instance it’sReally hard to know what it’s printed. Really a shame

nicely written for the layman!
Nicely written book for those studying the complicated world of Arabic grammar. Author has tried to explain grammar and other elements in simple terms. Good accompanying book for most Arabic courses
