I love this book and often go back to re-read it when i need to. Tene Edwards words remind me that I am worthy, valuable, validated, and loved. But above all they remind me that I am not alone; others have felt these emotions and some as gifted as Ms. Edwards have out those emotions to paper in such a way that lifts the soul. One of my favorite poetry books and poets ever.

This book truly touch my soul and it made me feel like she heard my cry. Being a mom of two beautiful girls some of those poems I read to my girls to help recognize their worth as well. I am really in deep pain before. I lost my self confidence because my friends betrayed me. But this book helps me to be okay, to be with myself again. I feel like she heard all my cry and my pain every poem in this books keeps helping me on how to be a strong independent woman again. A lot of poems i read is really giving me idea to live a normal life again. And yes sometimes it is okay to be alone and just read books ❤️ I really recommend this book 💯 This book made me realized how worthy i am as a person ❤️

I came across one of Tene's poem on social media and I said to myself I need to give this a try and so here I am😅 It was my first time reading poems and I totally loved it. A must-read! Tene's words will leave you wanting for more! Her writing is so perfect and her poems are so relatable. She definitely knows her way around words!!Loved every single word of this poem! Great collection of poems.

I found a quote written by Tene Edwards on Instagram and I had to purchase Walk with Wings right away!! I have been reading it over and over for self inspiration and to guide me through tough days. I can honestly say it hits home with me on almost every level. I believe any woman or girl who is going through troubled waters or questioning their path to purchase this token of love and motivation. I have no regrets and have recommended it to many women and young girls in my life.

This book really helped me through some hard times. It felt like the author pulled stories and events out of my own personal journal and put them into this book. The book has many pages that I have read and reread because the words this author writes are filled with a lot of inspiration. Beautiful book may not be for everyone but it definitely was for me.

I discovered Tene Edwards and her poems through social media, and it made me want to read her book. I ordered it and finished it in one sitting. Absolutely loved it. Her poems are so beautiful. I felt like I was on a rollecoster of emotions when reading these poems. My favorite poem had to be Partnership. It's like she took what I have been searching for and crave in a partner and in a relationship and put it to words. Highly recommend this book.

I bought a kindle copy and plan to buy a few paper copies. One for myself, mainly because I'd like to color in the pages, it's therapeutic to me..and the other copies for gifts. Tene is a world-class poet who writes with authenticity.Her phenomenal piece of work blew my mind and was so beautiful to read - it hit my soul in many ways as she described so aptly the seasons of life… her experiences and how she grew to conquer the trials of life.Her words touch your mind, body and soul - so much so that it leaves you with a deep sense of reflection where you have a sense of hope, which we need these days since the global pandemic began.I sincerely recommend her works as a trailblazer of modern, emotionally intelligent and real-life relationship based poetry.For me - reading her words at breakfast sets me up for the day.

I loved that the book was easy to read and very relatable, to some of my own experiences throughout my life . It encourages people at any age of the journey and of the importance of self love, this is what i am realising so far although, I have not finished reading the book as yet. This book is a must have. The quotes are uplifting and also relatable. The quotes I say to myself and to others around me to remind us of how special and amazing we are. I can say the quotes can be used diversely, as I have also used many of the quotes to uplift male friends. A book I don't regret buying and a book I'll continuously recommend. If you can, grab a copy and be inspired on a daily!

I'm not sure how I found this book, I think this book found me. Each season of this incredible book tells a story of truth, sorrow and liberation. Tene has an exquisite skill of connecting with the reader at the coal face of emotion. It's insightful, beautiful, authentic and so relatable. 'Broken But Chosen' 'Free Yourself' 'Body Positive' are a few examples of the rare glimpse in to the art of loving one self. I have purchased this book as a gift to my girlfriends. Tene's poems are truly moving. She expresses such raw emotion that I had to stop reading at times to catch my breath (& dry my tears!). I highly recommend Walk With Wings whatever kind of relationship you're in. There's something for everyone.
