Same articles as the 14th edition at a cheaper price. It has all the material you need to reference but I will say that if you're required to get this book just for the readings (do not need the essay questions ending each chapters) most articles are available in PDF version online by various institutions.

This is an excellent textbook for anyone who enjoys learning about cultural anthropology. The combination of authors views and experiences make it a well-rounded read. It's not written so no one can understand the content as well. The content has been simplified so most college students can understand and appreciate it. This is one I'll keep, even after my class is over.

this book arrived in under 5 days in awesome like new condition. I was amazed at how much more dependable and trustworthy people selling books on amazon are compared to ebay. I would buy a book on amazon any day. When they say like new, they really mean it.

I needed this book for a college course and got a great deal on the price of the book compared to the college bookstore price. The book arrived very fast and is in great shape.

I do like the stories it show us a diversity in different cultures. Some of the words are big to understand but the information of exposure to different cultures is informative.

With opinion pieces from the New York Slimes posing as academic journals, this textbook is just a brainwashing tool of the Marxist elite AKA academia. There were some interesting pieces on foreign cultures that were completely ruined by the often racist interjections by the egocentric authors. Like truth, honor, fidelity, and courage, objectivity is goal that post modern neo pagan Marxists refuse to try to achieve because they live perpetually in the dichotomy of the flawed nature of man and their belief in perfect centralized totalitarian utopias ruled by men, not law.This collection provides a sickening insight on the inner functions of a "progressive" mind. One of the worst entries actually makes the argument for abandoning the fertilized, industrial agriculture system we use to feed the world in favor for returning to slash and burn agriculture from the dark ages. This should shock nobody who is familiar with Marxist theology as "progressives" are by definition de-industrialists who see the economic boom and scientific advances of the industrial revolution as a pox upon the Earth. They would argue that the discovery of penicillin leads to more humans and more CO2 and should be forgotten. It is no coincidence that the Marxists of today have the same global warming religion as the flat Earth society which their Fabian socialist predecessors belonged to.

Collection of ethnographic data related to cultural anthropology. An intersting textbook to read for the day.
