I purchased this to use with my Canon Rebel t3i to make and edit videos. I tested the sound quality in a quiet room and played back on my laptop. They sound of my voice was clear but a lot of ambient noise was picked up as well. I was, however, able to easily lower the background noise with iMovie. In the end, the quality was on par with the price of $25 and consider it a value based on price.

Bought this to use with my Sony CX-900. It does pick up well but with no isolation in the mount it picks up everything you're doing which of course I don't want. For a b-roll stationary Mic, it's fine. It also uses cr2 batteries which are not cheap. If you don't need stereo, the Tackstar mic sounds better, has better isolation and uses aa batteries for about $10 more.

Product is ok. I wish I had did my homework on this product before getting it. Can't tell if it's operational or not. Can't tell if it's making a difference in my videos.

This shotgun microphone works great with my Canon 7d, it was money well spent it does a fantastic job.

Works well but it comes with one of those stupid size batteries you can't just find in a target or walmart.

This mic will amplify the noise around it, but it won't single out anyone, unless they are too close to the camera. So if you need general noise amplified, then this will work.

I figured out how to use it , catches my voice good but doesn't cancel the focus noise like I thought I would

This mic was horrible! When it came it wouldn't power on. After wiggling the battery around the power light would flick on then off. My husband ended up taking it apart and adding some wire from his tool box to make it work. Ended up giving it to our eight year old to play with.

Das Micro kam in einer einfachen aber schützenden Verpackung pünktlich bei mir an. Nach dem ich das Gerät ausgepackt hatte und die mitgelieferte Batterie eingelegt hatte kam die Ernüchterung: Das Mikro funktioniert nicht. Kein Licht leuchtet, kein Ton wird aufgenommen.Mit einem Batterieprüfer konnte ich meine Befürchtung bestätigen, dass die Batterie leer ist.Also auf in den Laden einen neue Batterie besorgt (eigenartige Größe, u.U. so teuer wie das Mirko selbst), eingelegt und, siehe da, das Kontrollämpchen leuchtet.Also habe ich das Mirko an meine Nikon D300s angeschlossen und ein paar Prodeaufnahmen gemacht.Das Fazit daraus: Man hört fast nichts. Als ob der Ton von irgendwo hinten aus dem einem Schrank, umwickelt mit Watte, irgendwo Raum herkäme. Ich habe in leiser umgebung aufgenommen, habe sämtliche Einstellungen an Mikro und Kamera geändert, aber eine Verbesserung des Tons gab es nicht. Tja, da gilt mal wieder der alte Spruch: Billig gekauft ist doppelt gekauft.

Per chi vuole iniziare adesso con un microfono un po’ più potente rispetto a quello della fotocamera questo ha un buon rapporto qualità prezzo.Montato sopra la reflex, non fa assolutamente rumore ed il suono è pulito.Provato però solamente in ambienti chiusi

Not At all good quality sound generated from this mic, Battery is not included in the box and I could not find the batteries in market. Don't waste your money in this product instead buy a batter one.

Non funzionza bene. soldi buttati e solamente un giocattolo molto meglio l'audio della fotocamera canon 600d credevo d'aver speso bene ma mi sono fregato chi spende poco spende assai più lo provo più non funziona solo fruscio

Soooooo yeah it just plain doesn’t work, I tried 2 new batteries and it just won’t turn on at all, I thought it was a defective piece so I got a replacement but it was the same case so I just got my refund
