Dear Pack Leader,We told you not to buy this book of 50 letters from dogs to their human companions. Why would you want to spend 25 minutes reading about dogs when you can play with us? And the photographs of dogs? Please, we are so much cuter.True, these are letters about the funny or irritating things that dogs do everyday. But the dogs featured are so ordinary and their explanations for their behaviors are not that funny. Remember that time you had guests over and I threw up in the dining room during dinner? I don’t know what all the screaming was about. As soon as I barfed, I started cleaning it up myself! There sure were a lot of leftovers from that meal.Or how about our charming habit of herding your female friends through the house? It is most efficient if we shove our heads in their butts and just keep pushing. And sniffing. Maybe licking. What does “embarrassing” mean?We could go on and on about our superior antics. Our advice is not to waste your time or money reading this book. Use that time to get us a snack, throw the ball, pet us for two hours, or just sit and gaze at our canine wonderfulness. My grandma and grandpa are not big on reading, and are actually a little demented. I got this for them for Christmas, because the one area of life that we seem to be able to bond over is dogs. They light up when they see my Chihuahua, I actually think they like her more than me...lol. Well when they opened it, they seemed confused, but started reading some of the stories and for about forty five minutes, I would hear them laughing every thirty seconds or so after reading another story. They enjoyed it and that made me happy.

This was not very funny, but perhaps I am too old for this style of humor. Too many 4-letter words, and just crude in places.

I bought this for a gag gift for my family christmas party. It was such a cute little book for someone who loves dogs! I read maybe half of the book before I wrapped it. It was excellent quality also. The pages were nice and thick.

This book is hilarious! I purchased it for a gift for my aunt who loves dogs and I read through some of the stories, it will be a hit for any dog lover in your life. The book is small but that is perfect to me, the pages are filled with bright funny photos of dogs and the stories are written from their perspective.

I got this as a gift. I haven't read the whole thing, bit then it I have is very entertaining and creatively done. A perfect present for any dog lover.

Hahahaha, I love this. So cute! got it as a white elephant gift and ended up taking it home too!! LOL

Who wouldn’t fall in love with this face? Everybody pees and poops occasionally in the wrong place. We don’t get upset with our pooches—they just get more adorable.

Didn't realise how small this book was

Disappointing. I was going to get a dozen of these to give as Christmas gifts but after leafing through this one I think not. I have had other books of this type that I thought were hilarious and made great gifts to my dog loving friends but not this one. It's not that it's really bad it's just not really good. Might suit a young teenager.
