Admittedly, I purchased this screen because it was less expensive than others and I was in a pinch.On the first install, the phone would not reboot. I removed all components and started over. On second install the phone became stuck in a start-up loop and started after around thirty minutes of cycling the Apple logo. Furthermore, should I now let my phone battery run flat, the phone will cycle on the Apple screen for around five to ten minutes (and sometimes longer) before starting.Since restarting the phone has never recognized the home button or its scan function and I've had to rely on the "virtual home button".Since the water-resistant protection of the iPhone 7 is essentially a black silicone adhesive around the screen, and as this replacement offers no such feature, the phone is no longer water-resistant.Though plastic the screen has been rather durable against scratches and comes with a screen protector which is recommended. After 3 months I have noticed some light scratching.Sensitivity can be hit or miss, especially near the corners. I find myself having to press "buttons" in certain apps or native phone functions multiple times, or extremely carefully.

The screen didn't come with instructions. Instead you had to email the seller for instructions. I didn't have time for waiting on a reply so I watched a youtube video on how to do it. This isn't a big deal for me but for some be prepared to email them or just do what I did. The prying tool is too big and I had to use a razor blade to get the screen off. Other than that I am impressed with the product and will give it 5 stars because it works and I have no issues with it. I would suggest that the seller include instructions and also modify the prying tool.

The screen is really nice. There are no instructions included, so you have to get that on your own. My only complaint is that the material is not good quality. The glass scratches very easily, which is probably why they include a screen cover. So if you get this, make sure you use a cover from now on. It won’t prevent breakage from another fall, but it will prevent deep scratches from common things like keys, and if you’re the type to set your phone down face down, something like a grain of sand can also put a scratch. Other than that it is a really awesome trade off. The viewing angles are good. Saved me the cost of a new iPhone.

I can’t tell the difference between the original and this one. Very nice quality. I’ve never replaced a touch screen before but according to the reviews they all said YouTube video would help. Sure enough I was able to complete the job. Just be sure to place the little screws in order as they are different sizes and go exactly where they came from.

Sure it displays an image, but the iq is bad. Blue hue, ualmost like when you have a pin of a vga adapter not making contact, but all the colors are there, just very inaccurate. 3D Touch works better on some parts of the screen than others. You get what you pay for unfortunately. The cost is about right for the quality.

The replacement "kit" only came with two screwdrivers, which were both the same pentalope driver, a guitar pick and suction cup. It did not come with one tri-wing screwdriver which is needed immediately after your old screen is popped off. Really aggravating and now I have to order the correct tri-wing screwdriver. MY ADVICE: Go to get complete kit for a little more money. Ive used Icracked kits in the past and should've just stuck with a reputable company. Learn from my mistake.
