UVC Webcam w/Mic Just Plug & Play for PC Computer Notebook

Recognized as camera and microphone on OSX 10.9.2 with the OS's built in UVC drivers. Doesn't handle bright light coming from behind the subject particularly well, but that's to be expected for this price I think.Actually a much better camera than the HP KQ246AA which sells for 10x the price and claims to be 8MP (I am testing them side by side)An absolutely solid deal for $4, total no brainer.EDIT: Works with Android 4.2.2 as Camera/Mic as well no additional drivers required.

Seems to work quite well, especially considering the price! I was disappointed when my webcam didn't work out of the box, but MKK promptly sent me an new one that wasn't defective and worked out of the box on windows 8. I was pleasantly surprised. Keep in mind that this item is a lower end item and captures at a lower resolution, but for video chats/basic use this might be to hard to beat.

I bought 2 units. They arrived on time but different. One had a window, one didn't. the one with the window had a glue fillet rattling around in the window. Both worked. The was just a technology test for use with the Beagle bone Black board. So I did not have high expectations. For the price they are just fine. QA could be better.

The video quality is fine but not great. We have not needed or tried the microphone as we already had one. The stand is funky though and hard to get how you want it. Without looking at the picture, it would not be obvious how this is supposed to stand. All in all, seems to work fine for the price, nothing special though.

Picture quality is very good, but yes with some of the other reviews to this product I must agree that the speaker is poor quality and sound scratches now n then. Otherwise, works great for the price.. Plug and go for sure!! No software required makes use of this product easy!

Adequate 640x480 VGA image. True UVC video and mic support. The microphone seems awful, but there's a reason: the hole in the front of the case is nowhere near where the microphone element is. See my user pics for this product for an easy fix if you're willing to undo 2 screws and drill a little plastic.

Yes, an actual UVC webcam. I'm using it with an Android head unit — plug'n'play!Yes, video could be sharper. Yes, camera could handle backlit scenes better.But for the price, it functions just fine. Good. Basic. Webcam.

One of the only webcams I have ever had-seems to work fine and hookup to my PC pretty easilly. I will update this review if anything goes wrong with the webcam.One of the things I DO need to say, however, is the customer service of this provider. By far one of the best experiences I have ever had-they really cared for what my problem was on the perssonal level and wanted to make sure I was happy.
