Fast Rolling Studdable Fat Tire Gliding over a frozen lake or twisting through a groomed trail—winter riding is best enjoyed with a quick and capable tire that won’t drag you down and still rail through turns. Inspired by studless winter vehicle snow tires, Cake Eater was designed to have lower center tread height with deep siping for lower rolling resistance while the side lugs remained tall and edgy for biting into soft corners. Studs pockets were added in the transition areas for optional added cornering confidence in icy conditions. Cake Eater is our fully studdable fast rolling fat tire for long days on the trail and is available in 26×4.0, 26×4.6, 27.5×4.0, and 27.5×2.8. Cake Eater. Ready to Ride. Compound: 62a Casing: Light or Tough TPI: 33, 60 or 120 Bead: Aramid Tubeless Ready: Yes Rim Width: 60-85mm (4.0), 65-110mm (4.6), or 35-45mm (27.5x2.8) Stud: Flat-tip or TripleTraction Tungsten Carbide (low rolling resistance or crown) – 180 Count

Lower profile than some
Lower profile, less volume, but same width as my 45N Dillinger so it fit my frame better.

Best all around fat bike tire
These are the best fat bike tire I have used. I have tried around a dozen or so. These are fast, light, and studdable. They set up tubeless easy. I just bought a second set. I have them on a Suzi Q.

Just raced this tire over the weekend, these were ideal for groomed and soft trails.
Specifically: 26"x4.0 Light studded tires. They beaded up perfectly as tubeless on a 70mm rim, ran pressures from 12psi down to 2.5 psi based on soft conditions. I was one of very few riders clearing all the hill climbs with grip and able to stick in the turns at speed. I also set these up on another set of 80mm carbon rims, no issues.

Use this tire your own risk.
Terrene tires deform around the bead in a way that causes the tire to come off the rim. They do not recognize the problem and presumably have not corrected it. Do not buy.
