Vallejo Aluminum Paint, 17ml

Complete negligence on my part. Description and answers said this can be used either way, but it can’t.This is for airbrushes, not normal paint brushes. But you’re getting this review from someone who’s stubborn enough to use thinned down airbrush paint to paint a WH40K Baneblade kit, with a paintbrush.Layers. Lots and lots of layers. And time. The paint is incredibly thin that the brush just soaks it is but doesn’t really put it on the model, so you have to apply multiple layers to get complete coverage and then more to hide the brush strokes.Not bad paint, just bad application.

I have been using Vallejo products almost exclusively for a number of years. The choice of colors is excellent whereby application and finish are always predictable and top notch. These can be used in an airbrush or brushed on with great adhesion and durability. An excellent product and highly recommended.

Every bottle of Vallejo we’ve received has leaked in transit and or become contaminated, making it unusable.

I like paint for sparying my warhammer models with, I wish the online store had all there colors and you can just select the colors you wanted most of time you can only find these vallejo in kits with other paints.I like Vallejo paints but its hard find colors you want no store has a complete of all colors.

What can I say…another great Vallejo paint.

Priced well, correct color. These paints are good quality.

If you are a Star Trek model maker this works well for the starships. Spreads evenly and dries evenly with no streaks, and dries relatively quickly too.

This is good thinner for arcylic paints and works well. A little expensive for the amount, as I've seen other makes where you get more for this price.Having said that, it does do the required job - thinning arcylic paint for use with Mini Airbrush

The same high quality as all other Vallejo paints, leaves a fantastic finish, also pre-thinned for airbrush use so no need to experiment trying to get right consistency.

Bought to provide a "weathering" finish for dry and dusty mud on WW2 models, for which it works very well. Coverage by brush is not amazing (as expected) but with the airbrush its designed for its excellent, translucent enough for nice fade effects and opaque enough to be solid in a couple of light coats.Usable directly from the bottle, can be thinned more if neededEasy to paint over with a nice matt finish (unlike some of the metalic colours) and takes varnish nicely as well
