Superior product from somebody who uses this speaker every single dayOrginial review 2016:This company does not claim this item is a "protective" cover. So the people who gave it one star because they assumed it was a protective cover, should change their rating because the mistake was on them. I totally love this cover. It's been on my bose so long, I forgot it was black underneath originally. Definitely fits on it like it's from the Bose factory. I knew i wanted this cover from the moment I saw it. Really good quality. I don't see it coming off any time soon. it is a classic. If you like the way it looks in the picture on the Amazon page, you'll like it on your bose, because it is exactly what it looks like when it's on.And as a side note - I like to bring my speaker with me in the bathroom while I'm taking a shower. Listening to my audiobooks and what-not. I also recommend the AudioActiv REPEL Sleeve. I went through all sorts of BIG bulky protective covers and cases and found that all of them muffle the sound. Then as a last resort I went ahead and got the Sleeve. (At that point i had spent so much money on this speaker i was reluctant to pay anything over $15 dollars lol) It's only function is to repel water and does not muffle the sound one bit. Only thing is the end of the sleeve is a pull string. So it's never fully closed. But again its not waterPROOF, it's water repellent. So it can't be submerged!! But if it gets water droplets over it.. the water will bead off..So I had a little piece of waterproof PUL fabric and I just place it at the end to stop steam from getting into my speaker. I know this review has all of the sudden turned into a review about the sleeve and I'm sorry for that, but these two products are great and I want to share them with you.To me, they are like peanut butter and jelly!I'll include picturesSo if you're like me, where you don't intend of ever dropping it and don't feel the need for big bulky cases, this walnut cover is really friggin nice and the AudioActiv REPEL Sleeve is good for what it is intended to do.

Honestly, without reading the detailed description carefully, I thought, it was a case for Bose Speaker. However, I was surprised to note that it was a wrap around adhesive papery wood cover, for a substantial high price, regardless where it is made. It is definitely , not worth the money. I am still debating that I should or should not return for refund.It should not be more than $12.00 . Please do not buy, unless you want to throw the money away. It is worth , one star.

So far, I love this! I was a bit disappointed when I opened it up. I was excepting something more, well, finished. It's a matt finish, walnut colored, and I have to say, it went on perfectly. I would liked to have a bit of a polished/gloss sheen to it, like it had a clear coat, but that's my personal preference. I hope it doesn't peel up after time, the backing/glue seems strong enough.I used to put the SoundLink in the bathroom area when I took a shower, but now I won't be doing that. Looked great but tore apart on the corners ? I placed the wrap on top of my bose, proceeded to wrap and the corners just tore like paper ! This is terrible it has ripples where it bens on the side ! Terrible product, asking for my money back ! They should put be careful in big bold print on the back ! If this would have been explained prior to me trying to put the cover on , this who problem could have been avoided

This by far exceeded my expectations.I didn't realize it was a sticky back transfer and I certainly didn't realize it would be made out of actual wood!I thought it would be some kind of plastic or rubbery case, when I opened the package I didn't quite understand and then opened the item and read the instructions.It really is beautiful.I made sure the Soundlink was absolutely clean and applied the top of the transfer first and then slowly applied the rest on each side. The folding side parts are very finely sliced so that they wrap around the Soundlink and you can hardly notice the grooves and they actually act as a bit of extra grip on it too. It has absolutely transformed the Soundlink Mini.I cannot recommend these enough. They are hand made and you can tell, they look amazing and I wish I had got one sooner.You will not be disappointed. They are very easy to apply and again, they look AWESOME!!! well worth every penny.What a wonderful idea!

I purchased this for my limited edition copper Bose Soundlink Mini II. I did have a little trouble with installation in peeling the 3M backing off. One of the sides wrapped around itself a bit and it was a little difficult to remove since it was glue on glue, so be a little more careful than I was. It threw off the alignment on one side a bit, but I was able to work it in so it is not very noticeable. Overall it is a nice way of customizing your Bose Soundlink Mini or Mini II. I have to admit, I was not interested in it at first, but the more I looked at it versus no cover, the more I liked it.

My Pearl / silver colored Bose Mini was looking a little haggard. I tried to clean it, but it just didn't look that good and had some scratches. I looked for a cover on decalgirl.com, but they did not have one for Bose. I searched on Amazon and found this awesome product. It really makes the speaker look nice. It works like a sticker, but it feels like real wood. It really makes it look very classy. Not bulky at all.

First of all it's not a 'sticker' as some would suggest. This suggests a rather cheap plastic thing commonly seen being stuck to empty cereal packets on blue Peter. This is a solid wood laminate with an adhesive backing. Laminate wood is err thin that's the whole point. Thin doesn't mean cheap anymore than thick equals expensive. I guess if you where being pedantically thick you could call it a cheap 'thin sticker'. It is actually a quality product laser cut to fit the Bose soundlink. If you like retro this looks superb. It goes rather nicely with my ruark r4. Oh and it is dead easy to fit. Chuffed.

Very pleased with the way this makes my black Soundcore look. Adds that juxtaposition of modern and traditional materials that many high end manufacturers use to create a touch of style.Balolo say this is 'precision made by craftsmen in Germany' and it certainly looks and feels like that.Take your time fitting it. Practice your alignment a few times before you remove the adhesive backing, and make sure the surfaces are clean and free from grease, and you will get a perfect result.Yes, at almost half the cost of the actual Soundcore you could say this was extravagant, but if you like things which are contemporary and stylish this is for you.

This is a powerful I use it outside when I go to the park for picnic and my friends always asked me where did I buy it and what's the brandClear and crispy sounds and the bass is just wow!

Love it, makes the Bose look amazing

Very nice, real wood, it fits my Bose perfectly. Just be VERY careful when you stick it to make sure it falls in place perfectly. Otherwise you may have problems with charging the Bose on the dock.
