Just okay, but great customer service
They do what wool is supposed to do like wicking moisture, keeping your skin dry, and limiting odor. A+ on all that. But in performing their duties as underwear, they leave me wanting. They ride up on the legs and sag down where support is desired. Perhaps I ordered the wrong size, or perhaps these tend to fit loosely, but these will probably end up in the back of my underwear drawer for a couple years until I finally throw them out.UPDATE: 3 stars to 4 stars...WoolX/Hank's Clothing contacted me immediately after I posted my lukewarm review and offered for me to return the two pairs I bought even though it was two weeks past Amazon's return policy date. They sent me a prepaid label and I sent the undies off. They will be giving me a full refund. Wonderful customer service, I will absolutely try other clothing from this company again!!

Try to avoid this. It wear out fast!
The quality of this company is going lower and lower while the price of this underwear is going higher! They tend to wear out faster than a regular underwear and even the original WoolX underwear. I keep buying this because it fits me and dries faster than a cotton underwear. I predict that this company will go down if they don't work on the quality and price issue. Finding an alternative is not difficult. but one needs to go through the trial and error process until one finds the fit. For me, I started looking somewhere else.

WOOL - USED IN ANCIENT TIMES - WHY? NOW I KNOW & YOU WILL TOO - AMAZED!!
I always thought of wool as an itchy, heavy, coarse material to keep warm. Well, I researched it because I remember it was used for clothing in the Bible. Why would camel riders wear wool in the desert? To my surprise, wool contains qualities that AMAZED ME.In the Summer, it keeps you cool by wicking moisture to the surface of the garment to cool you. In the Winter, it holds in heat. Also it has wonderful properties. Fire resistant,... intense heat will make it catch fire and it will extinguish itself when removed from the fire. A single fiber can be bent back and forth over 20K times without breaking. It is like steel to the fiber industry. A cotton fiber will break in about 3000 bends. It's naturally elastic and can stretch without tearing. When wet, it can be stretched 50% of original length. 30% when dry. I can go on, but look it up.So.... I could get a single pair of underwear for as little as $3 in all cotton. I thought $30 was ridiculous. I was wrong, wrong, wrong ! I have had fairly (what I consider) expensive packs of underwear. I'd sweat, they'd sweat or get wet in the heat or exercising. So, I did it. I had to try this Wonder material. It was Wonderful! This underwear felt amazing from the get-go. I knew instantly something was different. Wool can absorb 30% its weight in moisture without feeling wet. I was amazed at its ability to control odor...another "wonder aspect" of this material. Then, I purchased a T-shirt. Blown away. Then socks that have never lost their cushion effect, my feet free from odor and DRY! In a short time, I spent about $100 in short order. You can't go wrong with this item or the other items I mentioned. Also, get Merino Wool. You'll find out why when you look it up. I can't wait for my underwear to be washed and I wear the only pair I have 60% of the time.I'll be looking forward to saving to purchase more. It is a true investment in longevity, durability, and most of all COMFORT! Blooooooooooowwwwwwnnn Away! "What's under your wear today?"Blessings,Jeff

These briefs were great. Comfortable
These briefs were great. Comfortable, but.... Washed and wore them thrice. But noticed when donning them the third time, that the elastic has split from the fabric on the left rear side. I literally had just ordered another pair. Will send this pair back, hoping that my next pair will last longer. But I am not positive that the separation/hole wasn't there when I got it. I did not inspect very well, so it is entirely possible. Am thinking there is a reason why nylon is often blended with Merino; strength!

Does what it should, but a few key flaws.
Purchased for ~$30. As far as I can tell they are 100% merino and non itchy. Doesn't stink even after days of use on a hiking trip. I shopped around alot looking for wool boxer briefs and settled on these. The problems I have are:-The elastic is tight around the waist-The elastic loosens around the thighs-Pretty delicateOverall the product is exactly as advertised, however it's problems really detract from making it a good product. I ordered medium and am a 33" waist with average/atheltic build. The tight elastic is a mixed bag, it does help keep them up(I've never had them sag), but it is tight enough to not be comfortable to sleep in.There is not really elastic near the thighs and this presents a problem because after about a couple hours of wear it loosens and if you are moving(even walking) they will ride up. Even sitting gets uncomfortable after periods of time. It will tighten back up after a wash/dry cycle, but then it loosens shortly after. To be fair these are merino wool and a trade off of wool is that it is more delicate. After 3 washes there is a 1" gash that has started to open up. I own other wool base-layers and this one seems about as delicate, maybe I just got a bum one.To summarize these are in price range of what is to be expected of this product. The good things are that it has decent seam placement, flatloc seams, and made from 17.5 Micron merino. However this is a competitive segment and these have serious issues.

Tight waistband
For my husband, he took his usual size according to the size chart, but the waistband was uncomfortable and tight. Otherwise fabric was soft, and they looked nice.

I'm never going back to cotton...
Exactly as described - fits like a glove ;in size M (am 6' tall, 150 lbs, 32" waist). Doesn't ride up you-know-where, seams are flat so that you don't feel them, the garment is itch-free and extremely well-made. I'll order several more pairs, and am never going back to cotton.
