Purchased the StepNGrip for my Boys Basketball Team. I wanted something effective and efficient to use during games as many gyms at the Middle School level have dirty floors.I tested it on my AAU Team the weekend before the School game and could not have been happier with the results. Great traction on the floor and the kids didn't have to continuously wipe their shoes afterwards. The StepNGrip was as easy to clean as advertised and it was ready to go for the game the next day. ** Don't even hesitate to purchase**I purchased this thing in 2016 prior to my daughter starting volleyball in HS. I was reluctant on the purchase, "How long can the reusable sticky surface actually last?". I've used this thing for 4 seasons of Varsity HS Volleyball, 4 seasons of travel Volleyball, a couple seasons of youth Basketball, (All of those being the whole team and not just my kid) and now that my daughter is about to head off to college I'm using it as an interior door mat for people who forget to remove their shoes when they come in the house. I'll tell you this thing is just as sticky as the day I bought it. I just clean it with a scrub sponge and some hand soap (usually whatever the restrooms have at the games) and every so often I clean it with some rubbing alcohol. Best investment I've made and my 10 yo will probably use it for the next 8 years in his sports. I don't see any signs of it getting any less sticky. Can't imagine how much money I would have spent on replacement sticky pads if I'd gone with a paper option. Update 4/28/2020 - Wish I could attach a video to show just how sticky this pad is after almost 4 years of use.

Works great for the first team, but after 5 or 6 players use it the effectiveness drops off. It does come right back to life with a simple cleaning as advertised.

This StepNGrip Gel Mat works great to combat the slippery gym floors! I really like this new gel version and how it removes the dust/dirt from the soles of our sneakers more effectively than the tear off sticky mat. This is our second board. We use one for our school team and the other for our AAU team. Both were personalized with logos for each team. (My daughters now even carry the small Travel/Personal Size Traction Pad to their practice sessions.) While we began using this with basketball only, now our daughter will be taking it to volleyball as well! Our players have an advantage as they are able to stop and change direction without slipping/sliding. Another positive is not having to replace sheets like other pads. We clean this pad after each use (practice/game). It only takes a few minutes. When needing support, Allan (from StepNGrip), responded promptly and was very helpful. Update to my previous review below: The board is not sticky after 11 months, but StepNGrip was great about troubleshooting the issue and I am excited to know that the board will be like new again!We purchased this for my daughter's team. We live in Colorado and many of the courts she plays on are dirty and not as well cleaned as those we came from in Indiana. A state thing maybe? This board has lived up to its promise so far. It is great for the girls to step on prior to stepping on the court as well as during time outs and half time. For girls that do not wear court only shoes or their shoes are beginning to wear, the scratch pad has been an extra bonus for them to have traction stepping on the floor without tracking dirt or dust. Clean up is a breeze and it dries quite quickly in our climate and is just as sticky after it dries as it was when new. The girls like not having to lick their hands constantly and wipe their shoes in a game as well :)

We bring this to basketball games and the kids love it, but it loses its stick after one game and I have to wash it in between games for it to stuck again. I thought for the price paid, the stick would hold longer. Washing it after every game is a pain. Sometimes the play 6-8 a weekend

It's much better than the 30 strips of sticky paper, especially since some of our customers would pull those sheets off 5 at a time. However, you should be aware that they require cleaning every day and that process takes at least 5 minutes for each one.

The concept is great. Maybe the execution depends on gym floors and player shoes being clean to start with (8th grade girls). I had to wash the board at halftime for it to have any positive effect in the second half of games. Washed it between games also. The surface became sticky after the cleanings, as advertised.
