Worked perfectly for 2016 Toyota Corolla with H chip
I have bought this tool for programming my 2016 Toyota Corolla with H chip key bought on Amazon. It worked perfectly. However, the seller instruction is not clear, it take me a few times to try for the first key to be programmed for both transponder and remote buttons. Here are the 2-steps I took for programming the key and the buttons:I. Programming Transponder:1. Slide the switch to the left side.2. Get in the car and close the door, insert the original (programmed) key into the lock and turn the key on (all light is on, but not start the car), and then insert the device into the OBD. It will sound twice.3. In about 15 seconds, the device will make the continuing sound (Dee-Dee-), the anti-theft light will be on. Remove the main key (anti-theft light will flash)4. Insert the new key (don't turn the key), anti-theft light will be flashing for 30 seconds (29 flashed), then the anti-theft light will be off.5. Remove the device from OBD port, remove the new key from the lock.Re-insert the new key, and turn on to start the car. It should start the car.II. Programming Remote Control:1. Slide the switch to the right side.2. Get in the car and close all doors, insert the original key and turn the key on (all light is on, but not start the car), insert the device into OBD, It will sound twice.3. In about 5 seconds, the device will make the blaring sound (Dee------), open the driver door.4. Press and HOLD both "lock & unlock" button at the same time for 3 seconds (or 4 seconds), release both buttons press the "lock" button once. The sound from the device will be off.5. Remove the device from OBD port, remove the main key from the lock. The button on the new key should work after these steps.

Doesn't work
The tool worked perfect for programing the chip, but no matter what I did or how many times I tried it would not program the remote. I tried with multiple new keys and ended up taking them to our local Batt+ store and paid $85.58 to have the two keys programed. They have a video that shows them programing the chip and it works exactly as the video, they do not have a video for programing the remote. I tried several variations of the instructions for the remote and nothing worked.

Good and bad
The GoodI am giving this 3 stars due to customer service. I sent an email asking for help and they responded overnight. They let me know it did not work and I can send it back no issues. If it worked it would be a great product to add to tool collection. The BadI took off 2 stars due to the product did not work to program my 2014 venza key fob g key.

Worked for RAV4 2014
I learned about this device after reading RAV4 forums. The dealer wanted almost $250 to replace my lost key. I now have a working key for about $50 total. Bought a key off wallyworld website for $18 (clearance!) and got it cut at an Ace Hardware for $3. This device arrived much faster than Amazon said. And after about 4 attempts, I programmed the transponder and have a key that starts my car. Yay! I had to read through the reviews here and under this device sold by others to find the trick for my car--I had to start the car, not just move the key to ON. So, if you're not having success, keep trying the different instructions reviewers have left and with luck, eventually you'll hit on the right combo.I have not been successful in programming the remote buttons, but a reviewer of the key I bought said a locksmith was unable to do So, likely the key is at fault. [Update: The key I bought did not have the same FCC ID number as my original key, so that is why the remote didn't work.] The guts are not the same as my Toyota key--a single unit inside, not some circuitry plus a coin battery.Tips: Take a copy of the various instructions into your car with you. I screenshotted them. Figure out before you get in the car which way the device fits onto your OBD port thing. My port is super awkward to reach so having the device oriented the right way was helpful. Find your security light (mine was in the middle above the radio). It seems that different cars behave a little differently in this process, so keep reading reviews and trying different steps.
