Rainbird E6C 6 Zone Sprinkler Timer

Arrived timely and in good condition. A direct replacement for the original unit which lasted 14 years so it was easy to install. Worked as expected after it was programmed.

The contractor who installed this controller for me said to ignore the error codes from this device and replace it. He also said it is very common for this device to fail in this manner. Rain Bird tech support was a waste of time. Expect to replace it after five years.

Bought it to replace my existing unit, with exact same model number. When it arrived i realized it was not the outdoor version. Had to send it back. Bought a much more expensive model, but it was worth it, as the programming on this model can be confusing setting the watering days.

Perfect replacement, original unit died.

so far so good, ordered on Friday 7/3, it said I wouldn,t receive it until 7/9-7/14. got it today 7/6. really quick. took me about 15 minutes to wire it, ran a test and alls good. now I"m programming it and we'll see how well it works. TO BE CONTINUED

Ordered this unit to replace a failed unit that came with the house I purchased six years ago. Not only does does this work great but comes with a disk that tells you how to program and control the whole system. I am very pleased with the purchase.

The purchase of this unit saved me several hundred dollars. I called a local sprinkler/irrigation company and they wanted $250 to change out my Rainbird timer, plus there would no doubt have been add-ons. This unit came with a very well illustrated installation manual plus a DVD which made the change out a snap! I am not electrically inclined, but followed the simple directions and my system is back up and running better than ever. This is a typical example of why I always search Amazon before buying anything..
