I wish I had this sooner
I bought this because my back pain makes it hard to pick things up off the floor sometimes. This tool is a game changer. It lets you pick things up as long as they are not too heavy or a weird shape. For example, it will not pick up a wet bath towel higher than my knee, but that's ok because I can reach it better than without the tool. The quality is ok. If you squeeze hard, it doesn't feel like it will increase the strength. The tool itself doesn't feel flimsy, it seems like it will last many years. It does the job for things like picking up my clothes off the floor and putting them in a hamper. It is fun to use, too. You'll be picking things up just because you have this grabber.

Sturdiness and balance
My primary purpose in ordering the grabber was to use it to pick up objects (such as empty boxes) that I needed to throw away or break down, so that I wouldn't have to constantly be moving from a chair to retrieve the object. It has worked perfectly. Not only is the grabber sturdy, it is balanced when picking something up, i.e., it doesn't get so top-heavy that you have difficulty in moving something that you have picked up, as I have experienced with other grabber. It is also very easy to pick up a paper clip from the floor, thanks to the magnet. I am extremely pleased with this purchase, and highly recommend the company and its products to all.

Good for small light weight items. Not good for cans or heavier items.
Before purchasing, consider how you will be using it. This is a lightweight plastic grabber that has a small magnet on the end that does a wonderful job of picking up small items. However, it is impossible to pick up a can or anything with any substantial weight. The grabbers and the pole both bend under the weight of a regular sized can. However, I already owned a heavy metal one that does great with cans and heavier items. While the heavy metal one can be used to pick up small light items, it was frustrating and difficult to do so. Which makes this one a perfect complement to the one I already owned. I use different things. Keeping the heavy duty one in the kitchen and this one in the bedroom/living room.

Get one before you need it.
Hurt my back and forgot I had ordered this product. It arrived at the time my back was almost pretty normal again. After taking a joking stroll through my house to " test " this robot as rm out. LOL. THIS thing is incredible! I don't know how much it would have helped me with the back injury, allot! But this thing does such a great job of grabbing, clenching, picking and holding anything you need that's it of reach for your own arm length. It's light weight and solid construction add 2' to that distance. I'm getting one for my girlfriend because she is a bit jealous and very impressed with the greatest hurt/healthy assistance product we've seen. Buy asap and be impressed with your robot arm addition now, before you need it.

Works great! + some add-ons for changing light bulbs
Good grab, sturdy and light weight! I was intrigue w/ the idea in the description to use it for changing light bulbs, much better than grabbing a chair/stepper around and going up & down. However, when I tried it, I found it needs some "add-ons". The grabber by itself can loosen a light bulb, but it's not very secure in holding a loose lightbulb when turning it. It's also awkward/challenging to turn for full revolution while pressing the handle for grab. I improvised with some simple add-ons as shown in the picture. (1) velcro strip to secure the grab, freeing up the hands for rotating it (2) transparent "cup" from chinese take-out box as safety net to catch the light bulb in case. I used velcro again so it can be removed. (3) to install a light bulb, it is not as easy to keep it straight in place, so I use a foam cup to help. [Update:] actually using foam tubing over the flat tips addresses (3) way better! Like this one: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MXVPY53/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 .

Not for people with hands on the weaker side or much arm strength
I bought this item because I was having back surgery. The item was not terrible but I've used so many other products that were so much better. First complaint, this device is very heavy for me. I could deal with that but the handle to move the end to pick up things, I had to use 2 hands to squeeze the handle in order to pick even a single item up. I have bad arthritis in my hands, so at this point, I gave up and I had just set the item to the side. Few days later I wanted to try again. Well I went to pick it up, squeezed the handle and the whole item just snapped, broke in half. I'm not sure how this even happened. If you have weak and/or painful hands, I would try another product. I've used these items before but I never had to use 2 hands to push down the handle.

Precision Grab
I purchased this when I broke my leg and could not bend over to retrieve things. This device is amazing. I could easily use it to ‘grab’ ANYTHING. It would grab and hold anything: a shirt that had fallen to the floor or a Q-tip. Yes! It is sensitive enough and easy enough to operate to pick up very small objects, too.I recently had to move my office from one room in my home to another where I reinstalled my computer, printer, and miscellaneous electronic office items. I had to set up surge protectors, plug in the electronics, and position them behind desks and file cabinets. The Grabber Reacher Tool was a HUGE help in doing this, never failing to snag, hold, and move anything I wanted. This is a great help for a variety of situations.

Perfect! Helps reach and grab when you need it!
These are so well made and functional! I got the set for a relative who has mobility and pain issues, and they're amazing! You can actually pick up tiny things (even coins), as well as larger items. The two-pack is convenient for keeping them in different parts of the house or to put one in the car. They also fold up nicely, so they're not awkward to carry around while you shop.I highly recommend these for anyone who has a loved one recovering from surgery or whose health puts limitations on their mobility. It opened up a world of access for my relative, and we're both thrilled.

This reacher/grabber is the strongest and best for picking up boots and larger long objects.
This Grabber is great for picking up shoes and short boots, quad sticks( 4 leg walking sticks), receipts and rubbish etc. The metal part picks up keys and paper clips. It is probably works best with one to three keys rather than more together, but still picks them up, but they tend to fall again.

Weak plastic joint!
This product broke very easily and I paid around £35 for it...The plastic part that joins the 2 bars together is weak and it cracked as soon as I used the grabber for lifting something light weight off the floor.I requested a return and the seller did accept this. The only major problem is that the barcode that they sent me to affix to the parcel is so small that it's not worth trying to print it out.The other barcode that goes into the box (for the seller to see who returned it) is far bigger. The seller also don't specify where I should take the parcel for return. It seems they've deliberately given me a small barcode so that I have to send this product back to them myself (because they also say that I can send it back to their address in America but that way I will need to pay for the return purchase). This is a joke because I live in the UK and the postage will cost about half the price of the product...So I will have no choice but to keep this product and repair it myself.I'm really disappointed because for the cost of this product, I'd expect it to designed stronger...
