Times Square 162 Bastard Amber Gel Filter Sheet 10" x 10"

Excellent filter for small LED bulbs that are not warm enough. The problem with smaller LED, like the kind you find that fit microwaves and vent hood lighting, is when they claim to be warm like 2400ºK, they are actually a fake yellowish sort of warm. Better to buy 3000ºK bulbs and use this as a filter. Depending on the lumen output of your bulb, you may need to double up the film. You'll also have to be a little creative about how you cut the film and install it. The film looks pink here on amazon but it is actually more of an amber color - and it converts the light to a very incandescent looking tone.Believe me. I am very, very sensitive to the color temperature of light and this works very well for me.

I bought 5, 3000K LED ceiling lights to upgrade the older incandescent lights. The LED lights were way too harsh white light. These Gels were perfect. I cut to size and taped them over the LEDs. Now I have the desired color. Looks like the warm incandescent lights I wanted to replace.

Used this gel sheet in an airstream to change the color of the overhead lights. This particular color is perfect! Keeps the brightness without the white, "operating room" feel.

I bought this to warm my my LED landscape lights. Although the LEDs were a "warm" 3000K color they were much too harsh white for me. I cut circles out of the sheet and layed it over the LED bulbs within the fixture and it worked perfectly. Now my landscape lighting has that nice slightly amber warm white that I was looking for. I also used it to tone down my under/over counter kitchen lighting by applying it in small sections as an overlay under the glass lense to add warmth. The color of this sheet on my computer screen looks pink, but don't be misled - it is actually amber. 3/17 UPDATE: I have downgraded my rating. After about 6 months of use the film completely fades to clear so its use for landscape lighting is not suitable.

Perfect color to match my porch light I ought solar spot lights that were just too bright...cut the gel the size of the cap, but ended up having to use 2 pieces to get desired color. Perfect!!!!
