This is the perfect coffee table for a sectional sofa. Ample space for our drinks and food, within easy reach, and plenty more space for some decorative items to take up permanent residence. Plus those 10 different remotes I can't seem to escape no matter how much technology advances. The middle center is hollow, basically a cupboard with a hidden door that opens by pushing it. I keep my super hero secret identity thing-a-ma-jigs in there. It's perfect for your thing-a-ma-jigs, too.I researched many square coffee tables here and other websites, and this is by far the best in both price and quality. I've had mine for a little over six months now, and it looks like the first day I got it. The dog is constantly banging his toys (and his head-- he's not bright) into it, and there are no dings or marks. Drool wipes off easily too, by the way. As others have said, prints do show up, but they also wipe away easily. The sort of people who would judge you for this are not the sort of people you want around your coffee table anyway.Unlike a former reviewer, I don't feel like the 'grooves' (the faux wood grain) give it a plastic appearance at all. That said, this doesn't exactly look like fresh hewn wood. If that's what you're looking for be a lumberjack, who is okay, sleeping all night, and working all day.

You can't get any better than this! We purchased this for the family room where we have a reclining sofa and 2 reclining chairs. It is a purrfect fit. This piece is very stylish and elegance when it is put with the right decor. Everyone who enters our home just loves this piece and it sets off our table set in the breakfast nook. Oh.... love the weight, very sturdy... You don't want to use it as a side end table. Definitely a center piece!!!!

It's not bad. Difficult to keep looking nice, you touch it and your print is all over it. Maybe don't use pledge.

This gets 1 star only because there was no option to give 0 star ! Terrible finish and quality of the product. Essentially the $170 is for 2 wooden boards that arrive with dull grainy look . No shine and no finish. Cappuccino looks like Black and not dark brown. The table is light which tells you the wood is weak and won't last .. I packed the shipment and return it.. What a waste of time and money.
