Always tasty cookies

This container was in perfect shape on the outside. The plastic tray was broken and 3/4 of the cookies were in pieces. It was embarrassing because it was a hostess gift. 🙀. The 2nd box had a smashed tin and half the cookies were broken as well. It was a very expensive ($18/box) disappointment.

FIRST OF ALL, I LOVE WALKERS COOKIES. I ESPECIALLY LOOK FORWARD TO THE CHRISTMAS COOKIES. THAT BEING SAID, I AM PUZZLED AS TO HOW ALL THE COOKIES IN THIS TIN COULD BE DELIVERED BROKEN. BOTTOM LINE - I WAS EATING BITS & PIECES OF COOKIES AS OPPOSED TO A STAR OR CHRISTMAS TREE COOKIE IN ONE PIECE. I WOULD HAVE BEEN EMBARRASSED TO GIVE THIS AS A GIFT.

Let me start by saying, Walker's cookies are the most amazing cookies I have ever tried! So for the last 2 years I have gifting my staff this delightful tin of cookies. And they have loved it! Even the people whose cookies didn't survive the trip intact, they have said that it's the best cookie they have eaten! They said the flavor was heavenly and have begged to get the same gift every year for Christmas. It's a win win. The price is excellent for the amount of cookies you get and best of all, in a beautiful tin. So if the reviews about broken cookies make you think twice. Don't! Just warn the gift receiver they might be banged around a bit but the flavor makes everything worth it!

Very disappointing . They didn’t seem fresh nor as good tasting as the smaller packages of the dense buttery of Walker cookies . Maybe not same recipe ? The recipient shared one with me :(

This product tastes still the same as it did when I was a kid — and I’m a grandma now. It’s still has only the most basic ingredients, butter, sugar, flour. Pure and simple, great home-made tasting butter cookies. Excellent quality, it’s a novelty item so it is a bit pricey, but it’s worth it!

Unfortunately most of the cookies are broken... I had originally bought this to put out with other things at thanksgiving for everyone to snack on as we have most of my mothers side of the family (immediate relations anyway) coming for the 4 day weekend. Having 19 people over a few days goes through a lot of food lol.... I will still offer these, although I am a bit disappointed at them all being broken. I knew it was risky ordering these though as I read through reviews beforehand... Walkers Shortbread is a stable favorite with most of the family, no matter what they prefer to drink with it as it goes well with both hot tea and coffee, or milk for the kids. I ordered the Walkers Mince Pies as well, for the first time, as we have a lot of mincemeat lovers in the family as well and I'm only making one mince pie to take as I will also be making a pecan pie, and a couple of pumpkin pies. Luckily they don't seem to be broken like the cookies. I am still rating 3 stars even though the cookies are a mess because the tin itself is in perfect shape, and the box they came in wasn't banged up so I think the fault lies with how the cookies are packed... There is just too much room for them to bounce around in the tray inside the tin and good shortbread cookies should break apart easily and basically melt in your mouth when eating! I love the tin (It's actually why I chose these over the regular shapes they offer) and plan on adding it to my holiday decor, which I don't normally do. I usually avoid anything that comes in a tin as I always feel guilty throwing them out and you can't keep them all! Lol... I will probably use it for more of their cookies next year, and just buy the ones I usually get (the "cookie fingers" brick shaped) to fill the tin as they don't ever seem to have issues getting broken as they are pack so tight together.... Anyway, love the tin! Love the flavor/texture of the cookies, they are the best when it comes to store bought shortbread in my opinion! We have tried everything sold around here and the only thing that comes close is homemade. If you want the tin, and don't mind if the cookies are broken then I say go for it! For those worried about sell by dates, mine say they are good until the end of November 2023, so no worries there.

Love them! Couldn't stop eating them. Just about ready to order for this Christmas. I really liked the small individual bags. I put a couple in my purse and carry-all bag on my walker. That way I always have a snack when needed. Highly recommend!

クリスマスからお正月にかけては、ウォーカーズのショートブレッドが欠かせない我が家です。4種類の形のショートブレッドが3枚ずつ2列、合計6枚ずつ、全部あわせて24枚入っています。一枚が割りと大きいので、十分におなかがいっぱいになります。形がこわれないようなうちがわのトレイに入っていますから、一枚ずつ透明な袋に入れて、リボンで結んで、お皿に入れておくのも、楽しいひとつの演出法かな、と思います。缶自体も、とてもかわいらしいデザインです。ギフトにもいいと思います。

缶の可愛さと安さで衝動買い。缶は薄手で丁寧に扱わないとすぐへこんで しまいそうですが、イギリスっぽい可愛いデザインがとってもツボです。 中身も星やツリーの形で可愛く、うっすらと砂糖がけになっています。 普通のショートブレッドより甘めですが、私はこっちの方が好き。 ただし、油くさいような独特の香りはちょっと苦手かも。 一旦半額以下まで落ちていたのでラッキーでした。 どうしてまた高くなってしまったのか謎ですけど。

写真の絵柄とは違う、サンタクロースの缶で届きました。 なんか騙された気分 違う絵柄しかないのなら、それも写真にのせるべきです。
