Absolutely delicious, but definitely not low calorie per the nutritional information. 693 calories per serving is what the nutritional info says on the bag. Since I was looking for low cal, and this packaging is deceiving, I am giving this product 3 stars.

Wow~ This was exactly what I felt and said when I open the first package (honey butter) and put one in my mouth. It is amazing!First of all, there are only whole shiitake mushrooms inside each of these packages. They are dehydrated to certain degree that surprised me for it is super dry and crunch. The mushrooms are kind of melting when you chew. My daughters love them too! (7 and 4).And all the flavors are just at the best level, not over, not under. They designed it well.The only downside of it is I love it so much and I finish the packages too quickly, of cz with the help from other family members. I wish it could be cheaper.Nice product. Good packaging and healthy snack finally.

at first, i'm a little skeptical about buying this product; not sure if it'll taste good or not. Well, I gotta say, there's no regret here.despite credits from other reviews regarding the calories package labels, the packages i received seems to have been corrected since.for those that's wondering if they should try or not. The answer is You should give it a go!So let me break down this product for those that's wondering what eating this product is like.Texture, it's a little bit like eating corn puffs. It does as it advertises and it's incredibly crunchy for mushrooms (surprisingly).Taste, there is a bit of aftertaste but not necessarily bad if you're into mushrooms . It's just a bit of mushroom / earthly taste if that make any sense at all. There is a natural sweetness coming from these mushroom chips; unlike popcorn where it tastes blend without external flavoring.Now let me break down each flavor package. Just a side note that all the flavors were always mildly seasoned. it's never overly seasoned like you get from conventional potato chips and snacks. To me, they were just right.Original Flavor - tasted pretty good with a little light salt around the mushroom. Again the mushrooms are naturally sweet so you get this sweet and salty combination. the flavors were never extreme and saturated with salt like you get from regular potato chips.Black Pepper have this smokey taste but i do wish they add a little salt to have that salt and pepper taste combination.Hot and Spicy - no lie! it will make you break a sweat. this might be a bit too much for some that can't handle spicy food. BE WARNED!Sour Cream and Onion - isn't too bad. It's actually one of my favorites along with Honey Butter. Although, I wouldn't mind if this package add in a little extra sour cream and onion flavor.BBQ - This has the sweet, smokey, and tangy flavor all in one.Tomato - This is probably my least favorite but my girlfriend likes it. i like tomato soup but not when it's cold and this is what it taste like.finally Honey Butter - I like honey butter the most because it got this sweet and milky taste. almost like eating caramel popcorn.so thanks for reading this review and i hope this review helps those that are trying to make a decision!

Good mushrooms, but if you check the origin of these mushrooms, they are made in China. so it's a expensive snack from China, I guess that tariff from Trump make it so expensive. Good luck on eating health.

4 stars for novelty and an alternative to unhealthy snacks. Having said that, is this considered healthy? The small 1 oz bag has 485 calories, a lot more than a Doritos snack bag. Also the Honey Butter flavor tastes like a bad combo of artificial movie theater butter and kettle corn. Bleh.

I purchased these without really knowing what I'm getting (I'm adventurous that way). They sounded interesting and tasty. Here we go...Eyecatching packaging. Bright and good quality bags.You get a smallish handful of shrooms per bag. Most of them were whole. Great presentation that way, not too many tiny broken pieces.Light, airy, and crispy. Heavily seasoned to the described flavor(s). Pretty intensely flavored for my tastes. Some of them are pretty sweet. Doesn't really taste like fresh or dried shiitake mushrooms.These are not meant to be "health" snacks. Treat these like you would any big brand potato chip or prepackaged snack. Overall, not for my palate. If there are freeze dried shrooms that are done without a lot of flavoring, or maybe just lightly salted with sea salt, I'd like to have those instead.

Crunchy and tasty. I like them all but the barbecue and sour cream and onion were my least favorite. I like the black pepper and the honey flavors the best. Plain is just plain. Btw, the calories on the packet is inaccurate. Check the answer from the company within the questions section for the real info. Only about 100 cals per serving.

the mushrooms are of high quality. The chips are a whole mushroom. It isn't sliced or anything, just whole which I like. And I haven't found a single mushroom broken in half or anything. However, it is expensive partly because shitake mushrooms are expensive. Another down side is that each bag of mushrooms is about 700 cal. Taste wise, definitely a 5/5. But I had to knock of one star for the price and high calorie count.
