I have a pair in brown too. They are sturdy, not too high, but higher than flats. The inside of the shoes has a plaid lining (very cute). They are so comfortable. They are warm and cushiony. Although I wouldn't, you could wear them without socks because of the cloth lining. My question is - "How long will the inside last - still feel good on my feet? " I hope they hold up because I've been buying clogs/mules for a very long time and I've never had a more comfortable perfect fit. Oh - I almost forgot - Very Important! I usually wear a nine, but something told me to buy a 1/2 size larger. I usually wear a 9, but bought a 9 1/2 and it's a good thing I did. Otherwise I would have had to exchange them. I definitely recommend these, but beware of the size, not sure what other buyers are saying. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love them. As soon as they arrived, I wore them on a long shopping run and my feet felt like they were walking on sneakers. The insole is extremely cushy!The reason it loses one star is because they make this squeaky noises. Also, these run a bit small so as other reviewers have noted, buy one size bigger. I usually get them in 6 1/2, but the first order were a bit too tight. I was nervous after I ordered and then read all the bad reviews, but I am so happy. These are so comfortable and so well-made!! I love the padded insole and the rubber heel. The minute I put them on I fell in luv. Some clogs can be treacherous to walk on but these just fit so nicely and are extremely wearable. The rubbery heel has a little give and it's very lightweight, and the toe has a nice grip. No worries of turning my ankle.This is the second pair of Eastland shoes I've gotten and I am so pleased with this company. I notice a lot of people saying it's too small and to order up a size, but I didn't find that to be the case. I'm a 10 1/2 normally. My other Eastland shoes are an 11 and I found them much too big (still wear them though) so I got a 10 this time and it fits PERFECTLY. If anything I think they run a tad larger. Maybe make sure to get the "Wide."Highly recommended!
