MODERN WAVE Central Air Conditioner Cover for Outside Units 36 x 36 - Top Universal Outdoor AC Cover Defender (Mesh, 36" x 36")

Very good product high quality material, it is as described online and arrived promptly, highly recommend as it will keep leaves and bugs from climbing into condenser

The manufacturer of my new AC compressor unit did not offer a top cover assembly for keeping the upcoming loads of fall leaves from the many neighbors' trees off of the unit. I wanted to get a cover that would help. This little jewel of a cover offered the same level of protection and was just as effective and highly recommended, so I got one at a WAY LOWER cost compared to an aftermarket top cover ($$$) assembly from another source. The fit and finish were excellent and in 5 minutes was good to go. The lightweight material and the bungie-cord straps made the installation easy. The top hooks of the cords through the grommets worked perfectly but the bottom hooks had to be bent open slightly to hook through the slotted side air flow panels. Cleaning is easy if any leaves or debris collects on the top, the stuff can be easily swept off during the time when the compressor fan is not running.

Very good product and well made. Easy fit. Took about 2 minutes to install. Excellent price !

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy this AC cover was to put on. It fits well, goes on quickly, and provides good coverage for the top of the outdoor unit. The mesh material also makes it feel practical without being bulky or difficult to handle. The material is mesh, as far as durability goes, only time will tell but I hope it lasts several years. One thing to know if you have a Lennox: the 32" x 32" size doesn’t fit my Lennox unit exactly, so it isn’t a perfect fit in my case. However, it still covers the area I needed and does the job. Overall, this is a simple, convenient AC cover that’s easy to install and use. If you have a standard-size outdoor unit, I’d recommend checking your measurements first to make sure you get the best fit.

Top Quality materials & construction of this item. The bungie cords that come with it are heavy duty cords with substantial hooks and the tips on the hooks have a nice heavy plastic cap to protect the surface of whatever they are being hooked into. It’s a perfect fit!!! I also like the size of the openings in the material. Perfect for air flow & for keeping debris out!!! I purchased this to protect the unit from the leaves, twigs & debris that accumulate through the seasons. Thanks to Roman at Daffan, Granbury, TX for the recommendation!!!!!!

Easy to install, took less than minute to do. Can’t figure out how some say this is difficult. It is a perfect fit on Trane XV18VR variable speed unit. It’s lightweight, the bungee straps have rubber caps on the end to keep from damaging your unit, feels of quality material but only time will tell how this holds up in South Carolina summers and high humidity. I will leave it on year round, unless my HVAC tech tells me not to. I have a lot of nasty oak tree all in my neighbor yards and these trees keep dropping their leaves year round. See the photos. As of this moment, yes I would recommend this.

This item works so well and protects my AC unit from all kinds of debris flying around. I highly recommend it.

I purchased after getting my ac unit replaced and asking the technician if these are ok for the unit. The item has bungee cords so it’s really easy to set up. So far we’ve had no leaves or debris go into the unit and you can feel the air flowing through it so it’s not restricting anything.

Très bien

Great to keep leaves etc from entering

I have seen these for sale at lower prices but chose Modern Wave brand based on the positive reviews and now that I have used it I like it very much for its simplicity in their design and practicality, the quality of the mesh seems to be alright, thick enough to last 3-5 years or more, when installing this A/C cover, what I suggest is not to pull hard on the included bungee cord, since the gromets are only thin metal of some sort and pulling at them might break/bend them or tear the mesh, pull just enough to hold the mesh in place.

Perfect fit, looks sturdy and well built.

Works great
