Crusader Medieval Knight Foam Stage Costume Prop Shield LARP

THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST PRODUCT THAT I HAVE EVER PURCHASED IN MY LIFE! DO NOT BUY IT! THe handle is only glued on and is so tight to the shield that my little boy couldn't even put his fingers under it. When he slid his hand under it gently, the handle popped off! Then my other son picked up his and the handle popped off! Cheap, stuff, horrible gift for little boys who want to play. Wouldn't pay even 50 cents for another one!

Kid Safe, soft and fun ! I got this for a 5 year old who wants to be a knight when he grows up. He absolutely love it and it is sized well to that age.

This. Item was pictured as a silver shield with a black border around it and the Red Cross in the middle. When it came in the mail as a white shield with a Red Cross, I was very disappointed. It does not match my costume and the pictures were very misleading.

To be honest, it is not historical replica but it is a great item for a young boy to imagine he is a knight and still has the innocence of a Sir Galahad. The shield is of a rubber-foam type material that is both stiff and wobbly, and has a bar in the back of the shield for the person to hold. The sheild is painted as shown in the picture. My concern is connection of the bar to the shield and from what I can see is that it is a rivet and glue; to which I just wonder how much rumble/tumble abuse the shield will be able to take in the months ahead.Now to the assessment of the person who received the shield, "I love it, Daddy! You be the fire-breathing dragon." Now is all that needs to be said.EDIT: Two months after the purchase, the paint on the shield is beginning to peel off. The shield is still usable and my son still carries it around the house in hopes to engage in battle with someone.

Very sturdy quality, not what I expected for the price. Excellent foam construction.
