Amazon Resale item, perfect for me
Bought from Amazon Resale (cheaper) box was very slightly damaged, but the unit appeared to be brand new, replaced a failed one in 5 minutes, all working perfectly, very pleased with my purchase

TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
Bought month ago, first chance to fix to replace exactly the same unit which had failed. Wired exactly as previous, {even took a photo to be sure)and the light just stays on no matter what I do to the controls or on /off switch.Tried to contact supplier before writing review and could not.Frustrated and a waste of money.

OK if you get a good one... but
... like others, mine is just a disco light, constantly switching on and off. I got this as it was the same design as a 10 year old one already fitted to save myself some time.Oh well, buy cheap, buy twice.

Compatible with a leading brand security light
I had an automatic motion sensor LED floodlight (£55) from a leading DIY store, in which the PIR detector had failed due to weather damage and water ingress. Rather than throw away the whole thing, I decided to try and replace just the PIR detector part, took a punt on this inexpensive Luceco PIR detector, and to my pleasure I found that it was physically and electrically identical to my old failed detector. It was a fairly straightforward job to swap in the Luceco detector, and my security light is now as good as new. A classic example of the Right to Repair in action! One very nice feature of this Luceco detector is that the three adjusting knobs can be turned with fingers, rather than needing to fiddle about with a screwdriver whilst up a ladder in the dark. Recommended, for both new and repair projects.

Bad experience of this product
I bought this in November 2023. It was faulty just turned on and off continuously. After jumping through a number of hoops to demonstrate the fault I was sent another one under the three year warranty. The new one just stayed on continuously. I didn't bother to return it, I will buy a different sensor. The customer service were polite and perhaps as far as they could be, helpful.
