Get A Grip
Mamma Nayler used these for the first time today and she really liked them. She felt absolutely no heat when getting a dish out of the oven. She also liked how these are gloves instead of mitts which should give a surer grip.08/09/2017 Update - While Mamma Nayler was away, Rusty had to cook. I cooked one of my favorite dishes, spaghetti, and I used these gloves while draining most of the water from the pasta pot. My pot has a ventilated lid and in the past I would get water on mitts due to the way I have to hold the pot so I would have to wait some time to let the cloth mitts dry before putting them back in the drawer. Not a concern with these gloves as I can grip the pot better and any spilled water dries faster than on a cloth mitt.Somehow, grape jelly got on the gloves and they cleaned up really quickly. Here is a quick and easy spaghetti "sauce" tip. If you like garlic, put slices of garlic butter in your pot after draining most of the water out. This creates something of a thin, but tasty "sauce" and you don't have to use another pot or pan.

A little bulky and awkward to grab things, but very heat resistant for pulling things directly off the grill or out of the oven. I tend to not put them on when i use them though and just fold them over.
