No one seemed to mention it, but the wood disc is actual wood. I hate fake wood! I bought it hoping for the best and now I'm keeping this!Anyway, pump mechanism feels nice and solid.The white part is ceramic NOT plastic.It also matches the cup holder that you can find on amazon so that is a big bonus.

I have been looking for a decent quality soap pump for a few years. I have gone through about 4 in that time where the pumps just didn't work at the start or failed with use. This pump actually works and the pump is aesthetically pleasing. I would prefer if the outlet of the pump was aimed downward a little bit more, but compared to my experience with other dispensers, I am just glad it works at all.

The wooden piece came unattached on the first day of use. Then about 3 weeks later the wood grew black mold, because my kid left it constantly wet. The rest of the soap dispenser works just fine. I just threw away the wood and am just using the ceramic and metal pump.

I purchased this to dispense body lotion on my bedside table. The tubes of the pump mechanism are quite narrow and don’t readily pick up the rather thick lotion I use. This pump bottle would, I think, work better for a more watery compound like liquid soap or detergent.

It looks perfect with my black granite kitchen. The actual stainless steel part is what screws off so you really have to focus to get the soap in but it works well!

This dispenser looks nice. It holds plenty of soap. The soap never fails to dispense. I gave it 1 star because the hole is at the tip of the nozzle so the soap shoots straight out onto your clothes, into your hair, onto the countertop, or onto the floor. Unless you cup your hand over the hole, it makes a soapy mess.

A year letter, blue corrosion is forming around the base of the dispenser and from around the different adjoining surfaces where each piece meets another.
