I have had these set up in permenant medium, no sensor, mode on a garden fence next to the patio. It semi-illuminates the garden/patio and lasts well into the early morning after full sun for 3/4 of the day - even after cloudy days. A single light in medium mode is 'OK' to sit by on the patio, the High setting is more than adequate. It would be nice to have an extra option to have Full mode mode permenantly, currently it can only be activated via the sensor.

These were purchased so as to light the pathway leading to our rear garden located at the side of our house. They are bright and light up the area very well, and being solar powered are easily placed. They have withstood the various storms over these last weeks and months which have brought with them high winds and heavy rain, and are definitely worth considering. Great buy. :)

hi ,yes the light are solid construction and seem good for the money, but they are not that good in frosty weather and windy weather, the lights are spiked with trees in my garden in windy weather simulating movement of a human being in my garden,the one at the front of my house is more exposed to frost and this stops the light working on full light illumination even on full charge i,will go back to mains lights with pir detection this is more reliable security.MR LR.HOWARTH
