It's bright and lights up a reasonable amount of space in front of you. Just came back from party camping and it worked fine. However, there is NO adjustable band. I wear a small hat size and even on my head this thing was too tight. I ended up just wearing it wrapped around my wrist, which actually turned out great! So if you're OK w/ using is as not a headlamp, then it's cool. O/w, pay the extra few bucks and get a headlamp w/ adjustable band.

Pros. Light and powerfulCons. Little cheaply made. Hindge broke and have to use tape to hold it together.

Great product, very bright and easy to wear on the head. Definitely better than other similar products that I have, including a military one. I use it for many uses including walking on trails and auto mechanic work. For rough work the white color is not a good idea.

This headlamp is an amazing light. I work in the oil field and have to work a lot of late nights. With the LED work lamp it is the brightest light I have had. I have used a lot of head gear but this one tops them all. It is also one that I use when hunting. I have a clear view walking in the woods at night. The high, medium and low beam and SOS make this the most efficient and reliable lamp that I have had.
