Best book so far but read them all!!
You must read this series. I’m on my second read through and I’ve purchased them all on Audible and Kindle, as well as paperback copies for multiple friends and family. Ghostwater was my favorite book of the series.

Bubble World!
This volume mostly takes place in and around the bubble/pocket world of Ghostwater, created by Northstrider, whom everyone, but Lindon, believes is dead/gone.Lindon and Yerrin continue to advance along their chosen paths and make new friends and enemies.SPOILERS BELOW****************************************Lindon finds a series of wells and circumstances that allow him to rank up to TrueGold prior to leaving the pocket world. Orthos also gets a serious healing and at one of the wells turns back the ravages of years. Lindon learns that eating sacred beasts can seriously help your body.Lindon makes a new construct friend, and then installs him into his body, giving him access to something that is suspiciously similar to the Way reports we get throughout the last few books.Northstrider would likely be very interested in this. The climactic battle for Lindon is with Akura Harmony (Mercy's ex-fiance). Lindon spares him and offers him a way out, but Harmony swears vengeance so Lindon destroys his way out and leaves him there in the crumbling world. When Northstrider appears to check on the world before it fades, he decides to leave the begging Harmony to his fate.Lindon escapes and reunites with Yerrin and Mercy.Meanwhile, Yerrin and Mercy have their own adventures. Yerrin advances to TrueGold as well and comes to a better understanding of her path.Mercy and Yerrin bond a bit, with Mercy sharing more about her own path (Book of the seven pages). Mercy also shows off some of her techniques from the book, which allow her to temporarily rank up.At the end of the book they are theoretically going to go back to the Sky Sworn and report on their wacky adventures. They appear to have made a new enemy in the Dragons, but that will presumably be on hold until The Tournament.

great
Again this was the best book yet. I am always surprised how each book gets better than the last. Especially the new characters and how they affect the story.

A new realm
This volume of the Cradle series brings us to the pocket world of Ghostwater, a creation of the Monarch, Northender. It might just be me, but it seems that the more superior the character is, the more aloof they are.Anyways, the pairing of Lindon with Orthos is huge in expediting Lindon’s levels, but the spirit water in the new pocket world is nothing shy of miraculous. This volume takes us through another hard earned progression.A new supporting character emerges, Mercy. Absolutely love this addition as well as the added interaction. This volume is as gripping and daunting as I have come to expect them to be. The conclusion brings many questions. (As a side note…this crazy author has bloopers..yes…bloopers…..nice!)All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

Rising Action
Another good episode in the Cradle series. More focus put on the core cast. We get to see more of the other factions. Felt a bit like filler at times.

Not just a side quest
I have to admit, I was a little annoyed with this book when I first started it because Lindon was in a big hurry and this felt a bit like a side quest. However, after finishing the book I am really glad this book is in the series. It introduces a couple of new characters, one who is a lot of fun and adds to the rest of the series. And as the book progressed it feels less and less like a side quest and the point of it becomes more clear. Great job! Another great entry in a great series.

Ruthlessness is the name of the game
This was definitely an epic progression for both Lindon and Yerin, but I have to wonder if Lindon’s breakneck speed of cultivation won’t cause weakness as he continues to climb in power. Surely he’ll need some time to decompress and absorb the changes of rising two full levels in just a matter of weeks. What will Northstrider do when he discovers that a Persona does seem to have been created? Or will he remain ignorant of his project’s success. Do the Monarchs interact with Abidan, in some regular manner?

It just keeps getting better
Despite being literally dropped into danger, Lindon, Yerin and Mercy are still part of the Skysworn. But could a mission to an island in the Trackless Sea spell their doom? One of the things that really sells this series is the characters. A lot of care and attention has gone into making each of them unique and memorable in their own way. And by the end of this book most of the main characters going forward have turned up in one way or another. In fact if I have one complaint about this book its that Yerin and Mercy have relatively little to do. Yerin is possibly my favourite character in the series, so it was unfortunate seeing her side-lined.That aside everything else is what you’d expect from these books at this point. Nice action scenes, an interesting world to explore at a reasonable pace and characters finally coming into their own.Oh, and this book introduces bloopers at the end, little scenes from the book that have been changed for comedic effect. One of them references his Traveller’s Gate Trilogy but it’s not really important if you don’t get the reference in a throwaway joke.

Absolutely awesome
Damn this series is like mortal combat on steroids, Will Wight just keeps getting better and better. This is my favourite book in the series so far and couldn't put it down. The worlds and dimensions are just brilliant, If you love fantasy and epic battle scenes, you won't regret picking this series up. Unbelievably each book in this series outdoes the previous one, keeping you guessing and marvelling at what the author will bring us next. The new characters he introduces are excellent, my new favourite is Dross. In the story so far Lindon, Yerin, Mercy and the skysworn are sent on a mission, sending them into perilous dimensions, it takes places in a self contained bubbleworld know as Ghostwater, interesting things happen to our favourite characters that will change their lives for the better. Leading them on the road to become really powerful truegolds. Can't wait to get stuck into Underlord, just absolutely amazing, highly recommended....😁💙💥

Good read, can't wait for the next one!
Great installment for the Cradle series, I hope we don't have to wait too long for the next one considering they are rather short. On another topic Amazon are really failing customers as I have Will followed and not only did I not receive notification of this book, or have it show up in my recommended list, but the book is not even linked to his author page or the Cradle series...shocking stuff.

Dross! The bloopers! I am the captain now!
Beautiful imagery, I like the idea of the humanoids contained in a "fish bowl" surrounded by sea creatures. We're introduced to a sage! Alive this time. As well as more mysterious characters! I would read a book dedicated to these side characters. There are now new threats to the party due to Lindon's direct actions. But, we get Dross who is the complete antithesis of its name sake and its amazing.
