Healthy with Egg Beaters and heavy cream? Budget friendly with ingredients I can't afford to bring into my house?Admittedly I am not a college student. I am 75. But I choose never to stop learning, so I expected to find some good food here. I did. But spaghetti and meat sauce for breakfast?I like this cookbook well enough. But it's not one that I would hand to a kid headed for college.

This book has some tasty, easy to make recipes for those who do not want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. This is not only for students.

I got it as a gift for somebody starting college, seems great for a college student or somebody just moving out on their own to use, because it's not a big fancy cookbook so it won't take up much space on the book shelf and you can travel easily with it.

The book starts with some basic cooking instructions. Effortless to follow and cost-effective recipes. A great book to start college with 

First recipe includes watercress. Then there are other complicated ingredients. As a college student I didn’t have the pantry to support many of the recipes.

I'm probably crazy but this is my favorite cookbook ever, still. The Tostadas recipe is my go to, still. Love this for being affordable and newbie cook friendly.

I realize that my child will almost certainly cook for his self even I am away and working. I am certain that he will eat well and delectable dishes straight from our kitchen.

Flimsy thin paper. It seems very cheaply created. I was also hoping for color photos with the recipes but they skipped on the toner for this cookbook. Good recipes though.

This looks like a sad college student's homework. Seriously. Not a single colour photo in the book. Absolute garbage instructions. As someone with college loans to pay off PLEASE don't waste your money on this book. Dismal excuse for a cook book. Buy a Company's Coming cookbook instead. They're always excellent, I regret buying this one.
