SAT Math: Solomon Academy's SAT Math Book 1st Edition

Hello,I have ordered and worked on a large quantity of SAT workbooks in the past, particularly those in Math. I have always struggled in SAT Math and found none of the previous books could set me straight. I gave up many times in frustration and only returned when I realized how important it was to keep trying.THIs book caught my attention. I had hesitated before buying it and assumed it would be like the other books. Upon receiving it, I flipped through some of the pages and I realized how unique this book was.Just by looking at the table of contents, I noticed that this book covers all of the Mathematical subjects found on the SAT. Word pRoblems, quadRatic functions, radicals, geometry, probability... the book Has EvErything. Every chapter, the book has a very detailed explanatory section that has all the information needed. The chapter also has 10 practice problems that are taken word for word from previous SAT tests.Even better, very detailed answers and explanations for the practice problems were present. Any problem I could not understand myself were described in perfect detail.The book boasts 8 practice math tests at the back of the book. Each of these tests has genuine SAT-quality sections that are just like the real test.Thanks to this extremely helpful workbook, I took a full SAT practice test with confidence and learned that I had sharply increased my score by around 150 points. I am sure that with more practice on this workbook I can strive for a 800.Thank you Solomon Academy for this resource, I look forward to using your future books.

Excellent!! Unlike other SAT books which only allow you to get familiar with the problems, this SAT Math book actually contains 20 KEY concepts that you must know!!! Reviewing these essential summaries will help you to identify the areas of weakness you need to focus on. Learn these key concepts, and you will be able to answer any SAT math questions thrown at you!!! I was also very impressed with the practice problems and detailed solutions. Lots and lots of tricks and traps are covered by the practice problems, and the solutions are very clear and concise. This book is excellent for independent learners.In conclusion, I highly recommend this book. If you are targeting 800, BUY this book!!!

Very useful resource to use in the classroom to help students practice for the new state exam.

Just what we needed. My son (a good math student) studied all 20 units (4 units per week) and did 5 practice exams, one exam on each of the five nights before the SAT. He said the SAT math questions were just like the practice exams. Scored 760.

This book is really a keen study tool for any math test, specially the SAT.It contains skills and practice questions for several key subjects.Detailed answers and solutions are included for every problem in the book.It also contains practice tests, proving this book a challenging and informational work book.

Concise to the point, and a lot of practice questions! With a difference set of practice tests aimed to improve your score.Just one quick error though, on page 44, in the example question : the slope of the line should be 2 not 3 or vice versa.

Best SAT math book out there. After several other books I hit gold with one. Problems are challenging but clearly explained. Lots of problems and tests designed to address all SAT issues. Finally someone got it right!! Thanks!
