Spectralux 901480 95 Watt 4 ft 3000K T5 VHO Fluorescent Lamp, 4'

my review of the product, is they are freakin awesome. they put out TONS of light, and are great for that indoor growing project if you wanna step up from CFL's, but aren't quiet ready for HID's. the price of these however, makes HID's more economical if you get a cheap 600w kit. if you only have a single small growing area, i'd suggest just go and pony up the cash for a reputable low price HID kit. Alot of sellers are selling great kits for the range of 200 USD, which includes the 2 bulbs, timer, hangers, ballast and an air cooled hood. a 600w will put out much more light than a t5. however the one benefit of T5's is that they DO run cooler, but in a small grow area they DO increase heat a bit. i have a 5x5 area with just this single T5, and even tho the ambient temps are typically in the 72F range, with the light on its easy to reach 85-86 with nothing but my circulation fans on. i just got my vent system setup and have yet to turn it on. these would make the perfect light for a smaller area like on a small shelf or in a cabinet if you can fit them in there. if you have a more square area, i'd suggest just go ahead and get a HID kit. these put out about the same light as 250w kit, but yet pull about 400w. the overall spectrum may be better however. i'm getting good results regardless.however, the seller didn't package these properly, so one of the bulbs was broken in transit. they just used a rubber band around them with 1 layer of bubble wrap then slapped them in a box that was like 10x too big. there was no damage to the box itself, but when i opened it up and began inspect the bulbs one of the bulbs was snapped toward the end maybe something like 3"-5" from the end. i dont know if this was from shipping/terrible packaging, i'm assuming so, but it IS possible these were broken before the seller even packaged them. i'm giving them the benefit of the doubt, only because they refunded 25% of the price for the broken bulb. so be weary of that.in summary, the product is 5 stars, the seller gets a star dropped because of the packaging. if you have the cash for these bulbs & a 4' 4bulb T5 fixture, just step up to a 600w HID off "the bay".

haven't used them yet, they dont fit the fixture they were sent with be carful when items pop up i also was sent a remote that looks like a care alarm, altho the specs look intense i will try soon in new lamp thanks amazon

I experienced some broken items, but the company replaced the items ASAP. The T5s are very good

First two were broke. 3rd one is bright and going strong. No issue with replacements

Not very happy. I purchased over all 16 bulbs. I ran them for 756hrs. 4 of the bulbs have already burnt out. Two of them burnt at around 380 to 400hrs and the other two barely made it to 600hrs. Now I'm not confident the other 12 will last another cycle. At $12.0 a bulb this is unacceptable. I also purchased 16 Spectralux bulbs in the blue spectrum the bulbs are fine and running strong. Maybe I got a bad batch. But still, Not Cool!

My plants love these lights. We've grown a few rounds of seedlings under them with no complaints. They all have been strong. We have these going about 12 hours a day for around the last 6 months and have no issues at all.

This bulbs are great. They are hot and bright just like it say. Of course it don't burn or emitting red lights it's just a name for people to buy but still great stuff
