Vornado VFAN Jr. Vintage Air Circulator Fan, Green

I researched a lot of fans before deciding on the Vornado VFAN Jr., and I can confidently say this is the best one out there. I absolutely love this fan! If you are tired of cluttering your workspace with cheap, rattling plastic appliances, this Vornado VFAN Jr. is the upgrade you have been waiting for. I honestly cannot overstate how much I love this fan. It strikes the perfect balance between functional office equipment and vintage décor. Build Quality and Aesthetics: The first thing that strikes you when you unbox this is the weight. It feels incredibly substantial and sturdy. Unlike standard fans that rattle and tip over, this is constructed with heavy metal that signifies quality. The Vintage White finish is stunning and gives off a beautiful, authentic retro aesthetic. It looks incredibly professional sitting on my desk, elevating the entire look of the room. Performance and Airflow: Do not let the "Jr." size fool you; this little machine is powerful. It does exactly what Vornado claims it will do regarding air circulation. • Immediate Cooling: When I first turn it on, it cools me down super quickly. The airflow is focused and strong. • Smart Circulation: Because it is so powerful, I actually prefer to use the adjustable tilt head to point the fan upwards and away from me. This creates a gentle room circulation that keeps the air moving without blasting me directly in the face, which is perfect for preventing dry eyes while working at a computer. Noise Level: For a fan with a metal blade and housing, I was expecting some rattle, but it is super quiet!!! It doesn’t even make a white noise that I can hear …I legit cannot hear it at all. Final Thoughts: I cannot recommend this enough to anyone looking for quality. It does not just blow air, it circulates it super efficiently while looking great. If you appreciate heavy-duty construction and vintage style, this is absolutely worth the investment.

I chose this fan because I have allergies and asthma and need something that is easy to take apart and clean. I also love the look of this fan, and it fits in great with my decor. I paid between 50-60 for it. I see that right now it is at over 180 for this size, which is ridiculous. It's more than the large sizes. I love the fan and and don't regret buying it at the price I did, but I wouldn't pay anywhere near the current price. It's really easy to clean, with the front grill coming out using just a flat head screwdriver. I find it's a bit trickier to get it back on, but still not too bad. It did start making a really obnoxious ticking noise after a few months, and it was getting worse. I finally pulled out the manual, which explains how to take the blade off. I found a piece of hair wrapped under the blade, which I pulled off, and then I oiled it using my sewing machine oil. Problem solved! It's been completely silent ever since.

Boy, this little Vornado VFAN Jr. can move some air. I use it in my office, and it does a great job helping cool the space down and keep the air circulating. I like that it has a vintage look but still feels practical and effective. It does not take up much room, which makes it easy to keep on a desk or nearby surface, but it is powerful enough to make a noticeable difference. Overall, I’m very happy with it. It is a compact, good-looking fan that works well for an office or smaller room. **this is the second one i have bought. I had the first one for years. Would repurchase over and over.

This Vornado VFan Jr. Vintage is Soooo!!! beautiful, I'm very pleased!! I bought it. What more can I say about the fan? Don't expert a piece of plastic garbage, it's made out of very solid material, as everything was in the 1940's, the air that comes out is surprisingly cool, true it doesn't blow your hair away, but as I did say it's pleasantly cool. We've got a very old 1970's big fan (ugly)with four settings, this blows more vigourously, but the air that comes out is less cool, than the Jr. Vintage. It's perfect for the small table next to my bed, enough to get by on a hot summer day, even on the lower setting. I'm pretty sure one can't find a fan so beautiful & efficiënt for this kind of price. The only slightly negative thing I possibly could come up with is that the fan isn't totally silent, but the noise is very acceptabele, honestly! Nowadays I know about a fan almost totally silent costing 5 times the price and very ugly. Honestly this little fan is extremely stylish. By the way people living in Europe who want to buy this have to bear in mind that in the U.S. it's 120V. you''ll have to buy a very small transformer more or less the size of mobile phone adaptor, easily found on the internet. (220V towards 110V). This is inexpensive realy, around 10 euro. If not bang!!! Regret a lot, something so beautiful could go to pieces, only a small handiness to prevent it from happening. Also the plug in system is different but it's all on the small adaptor. You have to buy your fan first and then see on the internet what you need, easy you'll see, if not sure ask the online shop to be on the safe side. Sounds a bit complicated but it's goiing to be very simple. I'm gonna take very much care of this fan, cause I love it!! Roxanne.

I love this fan! It is adorable, made of sturdy materials, and provides a nice, cooling breeze. We have it on our coffee table which sits in the middle of our living room. We live on an island, so it’s always humid and usually sunny; we have our windows and screen doors open all the time. I do feel like if you need something for serious cooling, this may not be enough. We have other Vornados and this one does not blow as high. Doesn’t bother me but my family says they wish it blew higher. My family also says it is nosier than the other ones, but it doesn’t bother me personally.

Cool little fan, looks great and cools a small room well. Low speed is pretty minimal, high speed is a bit loud, but good white noise when sleeping. Housing is all metal, plastic blades. Only complaint is that it has quite a strong petrochemical smell. Unsure if it's the paint, cord, the plastics inside or what, but running it a lot hoping this will fade sooner than later.

I LOVE the Vornado brand because they consistently deliver a high quality fan and this lil one is perfect! The low level is quiet and powerful especially considering the size. It’s solid and built very well. The design is so cool and understated that it won’t distract from whatever your personal style might be. I seriously don’t understand why people complain about the color?! The color is exactly spot on and it’s gorgeous. It is not a crisp blue bright white, it is “vintage” white which is basically a light cream color. Stop leaving bad reviews because you don’t know your whites. Also, for those who have issues with the on off dial on the back… really?! *sigh This lil guy is perfect and in the heat of summer the second setting will be more than enough to cool a big-small room. The price Is great considering it’s metal and not plastic. This baby is built to last many years. I read the reviews before buying and I really didn’t need to consider purchasing this as much as I did. It’s a solid, great brand, delivers the air flow & the style is perfect. If you need a remote and want to talk to your fan then this one is obviously not for you.

the aesthetics of this fan are gorgeous. it feels sturdy and well-made, and i had high hopes for this brand after having returned several cheaper options. the motor is total junk, and the fan started making a rattling noise after about 2 weeks. for what i paid for it i was shocked at how bad the motor is. i have since purchased a $15 fan from a local store that runs much better than this one. i'm shocked to see the price on here is now more than double what i originally paid for it, because it was overpriced at $60, and asking $140 for a fan that runs the way this does is outrageous. save yourself the money and pick up a fan at aldi or something, this one is all aesthetics with junk inside.

Fan doesn’t work in UK even though Amazon assured me it would work with a adaptor. It made a loud noise and a burning smell so returned this as faulty. Not impressed especially as Amazon customer service assured me there would be no problems with this product.

It was a little more expensive, but I think it's worth it to get a product that won't break or end up in the garbage in a year or two. The fan is extremely sturdy, very solid, the air is good. it isn't whisper-quiet or anything, but the lower level is very reasonable for sleeping. the look is good, which I also like - it's a piece of furniture, I want it to look good.

Perfecto si buscas un ventilador para el escritorio o un buró. Es pequeño y muy bonito con una alta calidad en los materiales. La primera velocidad es silenciosa y con poca potencia, pero con la segunda basta para el uso personal.
