Serves their purpose
I purchased these in case of home power outages. We lost power right after hurricane Irma for about 24 hours and these came in handy. They don't fully light up a room but gave off enough light to read by and not trip over anything. I like that they collapses down for efficient storage. The compasses don't work but I'm not using them for camping. If you need a compass, get a separate quality compass. Otherwise, these are very handy.

The kids loved these! They collapse to fit in their backpacks - which was a plus.

These light up the night
These collapsible lanterns are fantastic! I got them for use during Hurricane Irma but our power never went. But I did use them outside at night when I had to dump the swimming pool of excess water. They lit a bright path to the pool pump. I am definitely going to get more and give them as Christmas gifts.Really great product.

these lanterns are GREAT, bright and light weight
We used them for Hurricane Irma in Miami . We have no lights since 09/08/2017, these lanterns are GREAT, bright and light weight. Walk with them from room to room or hang them anywhere. I wish I had order at least 4 more but cash is needed for other thing.. ~Madelyn

Not so good. One arrived not working
Not so good. One arrived not working. The other only lasted about 2 days after Hurricane hit Florida. Threw both away.
