excellent book and excellent delivery

Good basic information about the WW I battlefields and how to get there. Does not delve too deep into the history but just enough to keep you interested. Appears to be lacking information about the American battlefields such as Belleau Woods'

A very complete guide for visiting British battlefields of WW1. I found it lacking in similar depth for French or American battlefields. Little on Verdun and no mention at all of the largest American cemetery of the war.

We were looking for a guide to the battlefields, and this book has very little of this information. Good coverage of the history, museums and post war monuments, but no driving maps or coverage of the remains. We think the title and description of the book is wrong.

Clear, thorough, and useful. Pretty good maps.

Squalid little book with little or nothing to offer the tourist. The few maps are hardly worth the effort as they are too small in scale to be of use. Totally lacking in AEF sector information.
