Printheads Work Well After Unblocking
I bought this set to breathe some new life into my old HP OfficeJet Pro K5400dn which I had previously deemed uneconomical to repair when its printheads failed as the price of replacement HP ones was more than the cost of an equivalent printer.The heads were immediately recognised by the printer, and I found that the black and magenta inks were flowing well after trying some test prints. However, the cyan and yellow inks were hardly coming through at all. I tried soaking the ink nozzles in warm water for 30 minutes, as recommended in the enclosed instructions, then reinstalled them and ran a cleaning cycle. After this, all four colours are coming through nicely and the print quality seems to be as good as I remember it being on the original HP heads before they broke.Recommended as a cheap way of getting an old printer up and running again.
