CoolIt Baby/Toddler Cooling Dish - Cools hot Food Fast

As a working mom I am always on the lookout for the "little" things that make life easier - and this is one of them. The kids love omelets for breakfast but they hate waiting for them. This thing has a very deep well for the coolant, so it is very cold and stays very cold even through two big fat cheese omelets. It cools them down fast, washes up easily and goes right back into the freezer for the next meal. I also like that it is filled with non-toxic gel which is sealed into the bowl so there is no messing around with filling it with water yourself. Just easy, simple, works great. Love it.

I like the product, but it is definitely not dishwasher safe. I am glad that we bought 2 so that we still have 1 that is working. I only used the top rack, but 1 of our bowls is ruined. The plug came out and lost the gel. Hand washing seems to be the only way to go.

We've only used it a few times but it's sure a time saver when you have a toddler. You have only so much time they are interested in food once you sit them down. It cooled his food in 10 seconds. So handy! Easy to clean too.

This seems like such a simple idea, but it's really very genius. I usually have to teach my toddler the ways of patience the hard way, as I tell them "Just a minute longer" when they're already hungry and wanting to eat. I like that it's BPA and phlalate free - Puts my mind at ease in using the plastic. It's a very clever product. I will use this as my go-to baby shower gift from now on.

This bowl works well. The bowl is a heavier weight bowl, quite thick. It appears to be made as the same material as an reuseable ice block. It needs to be kept in the freezer until use. Once your hot food is ready, put it on the bowl and it cools it within three minutes. However, if you leave it on any longer, your food will get cold. It is dishwasher safe on the top shelf. It's very easy to use and cools quickly.

This is OK. It said that it would cool the food in a minute. Not true unless all the food is touching the blue plate. If anything is stacked, it will still be hot. I'll keep it and use it but it wasn't what I hoped for.

What a great idea! who hasn't dealt with a screaming hungry baby and food that's too hot? The only down side of this is that it doesn't hold much food. If you overload it (which doesn't take much), it doesn't cool the food very well. Because of this, I'd say it's great for little ones starting out their food adventure. Not great for older toddlers.

Game Changer. My son is one of those toddlers that must eat no later than 6:10. We get home at 6 most days leaving very precious few minutes to get food ready before the melt-down begins. I had read about this from a few other moms and thought "it couldn't hurt to try it". The first night I used it I had dinner right on time. After heating his food, I put it in this to cool down while stirring it. It was cool enough for him in less than a minute and dinner was switched to his plate, this was rinsed/washed, and popped back into the freezer for the next night. Another plus if you do not hand wash it; it is dishwasher friendly (top rack only). I am very happy I purchased this and would recommend it to any mother or father who works and needs to get food on the table fast in the evening before the inevitable melt-down.
