I often take dry snacks to work and was going through little plastic baggies like crazy. I came across these and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. They are larger than I expected and they sure are sturdy. They are very well made and hold quite a bit. I used the smaller one for some peanuts and the larger one for pita crisps. I filled them up and sealed them shut. They left plenty of room in my lunch bag because the food kinda spreads out and makes the pouch a little slimmer than a standard plastic baggie. It actually also protected the chips a little better and there was minimal crushing. The only issue is cleaning them. It was a little difficult to clean them because they are so flexible and sturdy. To dry I wiped them with a paper towel and then crumpled up a dry paper towel, stuffed it loosely inside and stood it upside down so they would drain and dry. Either way, I will be buying more in the near future. I highly recommend them.

UGH I really wish that these would have worked perfectly. I was looking for a "green" solution to wasting tons of tiny plastic bags, but these aren't it. They are the WORST to clean. I put them in the dishwasher and afterwards they would still have tiny bits of food/grime even though they were propped straight up on prongs in my dishwasher. They also were pretty impossible to dry which was annoying too. Sure you could flip them inside out to dry, but they didn't seem like they'd last long to that type of movement. Besides that they didn't always zip seal easily so I was worried about food coming out. So if you're looking for a green solution to baggies, this isn't it - probably would be better buying ziplocs and reducing how many you use rather than wasting all this plastic for these ones. I don't recommend at all.

They worked for about a month but now three of the bags won’t zip. I would not purchase again. I love the idea of reducing plastic but now I have to throw away these thicker plastic bags. Very frustrating.

I waited a few weeks to make sure the bags last and I’m sorry to say they do NOT! I use them daily for school and work and they at first were both leakproof and very sturdy. I started using them on 10/15/19 and on 10/28/19 two of them have already rippled at the zipper rendering them useless. This would be an amazing product if it actually lasted.

These were a mistake. Wanted to save space and be eco-friendly living on a boat, but these do not meet my storage needs. Too narrow and inflexible. Can’t hold much. Hard to clean the inside, both to wash and dry. Have to prop them open with a spoon to ensure the inside thoroughly dries. They need to have pleated bottoms so the bags can expand to fit. Will probably throw out. A shame.

These suckers are hard to clean and get dry, they naturally don't want to hold themselves open to dry, so it can be a pain to readjust how they're drying, BUT totally worth it. If it means I am saving the environment one baggie at a time, then count me in! Will definitely be trying out the stand up kind that have the expandable bottom. Was a tad disappointed with the sizes, but all is well should have researched more.

We go through so many zip lock bags, I wanted an eco friendly alternative. These bags are great, except they are just not as convinient as a ziplock. It's not a design flaw, so as a product its 5 star. I just cant see it completely replacing ziplock bags.The only downfall is the cleaning. It's hard to get the corners clean and get them to dry completely. I've read the kids with flat bottom is easier to clean but it will take more space.There are no easy solutions to reducing plastic use. I think I have to learn to embrace inconvenience to make a better world for our kids.

I love the idea of less waste with these reusable bags.....but......Pros- Stores food well. Less waste in the landfill.Cons- Annoying that they can’t be thrown in the dishwasher. Very difficult to get dry, had to use every cup in my cabinet to open them up on so they could dry. Came smelling like a funky chemical but after cleaned they smelled fine.
