 Let it charge a few hours like the instructions said then placed it in the water - started working! I like that it has the battery to keep it working when a cloud passes over. I have it attached to a little glass stand so it stays put using the tiny suction cups on the motor.

 I love this solar fountain! The battery backup keeps it running smoothly during the day. It has many spray options, but some of the most showy spray water outside of my small bird bath (causing it to run dry). I can safely leave it on the bubbler mode to keep all my water. I am definitely buying another!

 Arrived a couple days ago... Nice addition to the bird bath. Steady flow in sunlight today. The first day it kept stopping & restarting. Even in sun light. Working fine today and birds seem to like it. Video attached. Hope they build one that will keep running if a cloud comes over.

I love love love this adorable little fountain! It turns my backyard into a peaceful oasis. It worked right out of the box. Comes with a variety of attachments for different sprays. Love the peaceful sound of the water which I can hear even above the sounds of my chickens and ducks. Written directions are a bit confusing as it refers to part numbers that aren’t included and are not shown on the diagram or list of parts. Toss the directions and just put it together intuitively. It’s not rocket science. Took me about 3-5 minutes to put together and worked in water immediately. It does need to be in direct sunlight (not obstructed by tree branches, etc) but I used it on a partially cloudy day and it worked (as you can see from video). Highly recommend this product. I was conflicted about buying one of these little fountains as reviews were mixed but I am super glad I bought it. Going to go enjoy my backyard paradise now!

 What a great addition to our garden. This fountain has a built in battery backup for intermittent cloudy days and early evening operation.It comes supplied with three snap on caps for different spray patterns. The stronger the sun, the higher the spray height.Hummingbirds have been seen being attracted to the spray.Comes with easy to follow instructions for assembly.We used a bucket to contain the spray for longer daytime operation. Our watering system replenishes the water 3 times a day for consistent operation.

I found out about this product from a friend of mine couple days ago and I was curious how it works, so I bought one via my friends recommandation to test it out. I had a water fountain prior, but it was electric based. The installation was pretty easy to do, only took me 25 minutes to get my old water fountain pump out and install this one in. Remember that you need to have enough sunlight for this to activate, I wasn't aware of that issue beforehand. TL DR, it was a pretty neat product that they invented.

This little fountain works exactly as promised. For it's size, I am very impressed with how powerful the spray is and I love that it comes with different sprayer heads. We have a larger pond, so we will probably need to order another one, but for now I am very happy with it. As expected, the more sun it receives, the better it works, but even on an overcast day, it still runs very well. I do wish that the battery would last longer, but for this price I am very happy with my little fountain and would definitely recommend it as a low-cost, eco-friendly option for pond aeration.

Works so much better than the original. It will keep working when we get overcast. The problem is that it is so powerful it sprays the water out of my birdbath. My birdbath is 15 inches wide. I wish there was a flow control. I’ve tried all the shower heads and have even gouged out some larger holes on them but then it spatters outside the bath. I have to add more water to keep it going. UPDATE Now I’ve had one since July last year. It has a mind of its own. For $12. I ordered another. This ones going back and I’ll try another one. It’s worth the effort for me.
