I bought two of these tents one small and one medium and they have an odor to them that can’t be washed out?!They smell like chemicals but I washed them twice before I would allow my bird in them and the smell is still there???Everytime I get him out he smells like the tents. What is in the material that would cause this? I ordered different ones from another company in case the smell does not subside. I don’t think it’s dangerous to my bird because I would have never put them in his cage if I thought they would be dangerous to his health. I even washed the plastic inserts twice because they stink!!!

This bird tent is cute, but it smells so strongly I can't even bring it into my house. If I put this in my bird's cage, she would die. I can't believe this company sells this product FOR PARROTS when it smells so terrible! Birds have delicate lungs and this made my truck smell so foul I had to keep the windows down for the entire day to get the smell out. I don't even know what the smell is, but it won't come off my hands after touching it even after washing them with soap. DO NOT BUY!

At first she seemed reluctant to try it out and I thought she might be attached to her old one which the floor plate broke in half. After a day or so she was right in there and now seems to love it. She loves to sleep in there and I simply drape her Cozy Cover over the top of her cage. She laid eggs in the last one but to early to tell with this one. This one is much better built than the last and I think more decorative. I don't know that she really cares.

My Quaker destroyed it's old "tent" so I purchased this one due to the fact that it was not as fuzzy, making it safer for my chewy bird. It is sturdy enough and my bird loves sleeping in it and using it to play peek-a-boo. I also enjoy that you can unzip the bottom, take the stiff support out, and wash it if needed.

I want to start by saying this seems like a decent product! From what I can tell it definitely does what it is supposed to do, it looks comfy, and has no ‘fuzz’ for the bird to chew on. BUT, when we received it, it had a very strong odor. One that we could not remove so we returned it. I did not feel that the odor was safe for my bird to sleep in. All in all it’s a good product if you can manage to get the odor out.

I would like to give this a better review because my bird absolutely loves it & the pattern on it is very cute but the little loop that the hook is in already broke and I had to punch a hole through the actual tent in order to hang it.

i love it! my quaker jusr needs to get used to it. the print and quality is perfect and the size is amazing especially for the price.

Absolutely adorable and very well made. Removal pad for cleaning. My timid cockatiel was the first to go camping in it.
