Looks nice, easy to put in
With a drill and a forstner bit to improvise slots in our sliding doors and a screwdriver to install the new handles, I made quick work of this DIY home improvement. I should probably get a medal, a bouquet of flowers, and an honorary degree from Harvard. Or a thank you and a foot rub.

Very nice recessed door handles
What separates these handle from the traditional round ones is the way they look and the fact they have retaining screws to hold them in place, nor glue required. Also you do not need a Forsner Drill Bit, just a small and medium chisel.

Perfect little handle for my sliding door
I got tired of touching my sliding door to open and close from the bathroom side. I searched Amazon looking for a small round handle. This is the only one I found on Amazon, and because it's brushed nickel, it is perfect! When it arrived, I didn't realize it is small! LOL I didn't think to look at the size. Fortunately, it is big enough for what I needed it for. Installing it was interesting. The width is 1.6", and my friend only has a 1.5" drill thingee. We ended up hammering the handle into the door to make it fit. I placed a towel on the handle to avoid the hammer from scratching the handle. Then there are 2 little screws that are used to secure the handle on the door. Since we hammered the handle into the door, I probably don't need the screws because the handle is securely mounted into the door. We decided to put the screws in, which are very small and in an awkward angle. Unfortunately, the handle of the screwdriver scratched the surface of the handle. The turning motion smoothed out the surface, and my friend ended up using a sanding block to create the brushed lines which ended up working out perfectly. Whew. This is a nice quality handle, and I am really glad I found it even though it was the only one available that meets my need.

nice but
The lip is much thicker than my other hardware so I had to cut an inset and spend much more time on this than I had planned. The quality of the construction is good.

Door pulls are two pieces welded together.
Not as nice as shown and a bit hard to install, but they work.
