this product does not have any warranty
Battery worked for approximately four months, then spontaneously stopped charging. I figured the product would have at least a 12month warranty, but I was wrong. It has no warranty, as the seller confirmed. I would avoid this charger.

THE REASON I PUT 4 OUT OF 5
The reason I put 4 out of 5 is because the part where it connects, is lose.

Distinctive design...
I like this Baytek portable charger for the styling. Most chargers I use are utilitarian in design, or they all look pretty much the same. The Baytek is encased in real wood, and it has a classy look and feel to it. I found the wood also helped keep the unit cool to the touch during charging.Per the description, this is designed for a Samsung-style phone. It comes with a micro-USB cord and is rated at 3000mAh. However, a charger is a charger, and I use an iPhone (I have to provide the lightning cord for that type of charging). For my iPhone 5S, I could get a full charge from this, and it functions at approximately 1% per minute. My other phone (an iPhone 6 Plus), the power requirements are much higher, so the charger doesn't last nearly as long. I went from 33% to 80% in 100 minutes before the charger was drained. So for that type of phone, I'd classify this as a way to get approximately 50% more use from the iPhone 6 Plus before you need to plug it back into a wall unit. The only thing I'd like to see on this is a better light indicator to show the amount of charge left. This has a small inconspicuous blue LED that lights up when the charger is being recharged and when the unit is charging another device. I can't really tell when it's fully charged or how far discharged it is at any time. I think the best use case in this is to recharge it after any use, just to make sure it's topped off. While it's not the most powerful charger in my inventory, it's definitely the most distinctive.Disclosure:Obtained From: VendorPayment: Free

I almost said no, then I saw it.
I was all "chargered" out when Baytek offered me this product in exchange for a review. I was about to say no when I saw the design. This is by far the nicest looking portable charger in my inventory. . . and I have a lot.Owning and reviewing 5 different 3000mAh chargers I can safely say that this is the nicest looking. It isn't the most functional as a competitor decided to build a flashlight in to theirs. The Baytek charger is sleek and I don't go to my charger when in need of a light source so this reigns as my favorite of the bunch. The charger is no different than others in this category with respect to charging times and capacity. My older phone charged up to 100% on it but my bigger and more demanding note didn't make it as far (about 60% before this depleted). I don't expect a 3,000mAh charger to power up that juggernaut, however getting a little bit of extra juice out of a nice package is helpful in a bind. Please feel free to ask any questions below.thank you!

A full charge for most smartphones, in style
The Baytek powerbank holds enough juice to fully restore my iPhone 5S from almost empty to a full charge. The top features a microUSB connector (to charge it, a short USB to microUSB cable is provided) and a standard USB connector to connect a phone charge cable. If you have an Android phone, you can use the cable provided to charge it; with an iPhone, use the cable that came with the phone. This is a powerbank like there are many, with two differences: it uses a quality Samsung cell, and instead of a cheap plastic or metal case, it uses a beautiful natural wood finish. It takes up very little space in a purse, travel bag or glove compartment, and it can really save your bacon to make that all important phone call when the battery is dying and you're far away from any recharging station. On top of that, the finish is really beautiful, and it doesn't cost any more than an ordinary unit, so picking this good looking battery unit is a no brainer. Recommended.[sample provided for review]
