Stay safe !!!
Perfect mid-size boot knife. That's what I bought this to be I don't plan on diving very much with it at all. Very lightweight my scale said 2.71 oz. I was surprised by how light weight it was, feels solid though.... Not enough to use as a thrower. perfectly symmetrical, came sharp and the edge grinds were clean and even. I think in a palm loaded grip with one finger through it would be hard to wrestle out of your hand. Which makes it what I call a "get off me" knife. The sheath is very bulky I'm going to try to find another one for it in my collection of knives that I already have. Would recommend for basically anybody as long as daggers are legal to carry in your state. Good for women, big enough to scare off someone sane. Ladies If you are going to carry this knife, I recommend just practicing a little bit of basic Filipino martial arts to give you some idea of how to use it and to be more confident. Stay safe y'all !!!

I miss my 1984 Tekna Knife...
Cheap, but , cheap. On a budget it will do. Tekna was tops. They folded. Someone else took over.Expensive.My buddies cousin has that Tekna. ... ... .Regardless, $150 now. This is scrawny, I read it rusts. Some are happy.Boot/belt knife? Yes.Don't plan on ocean work.Scrawny.Like half the Tekna from the 80's.But, $10 It will do for self defense or edc use.BUT the case is cheeeeaaap.Button release is stiff.Spring is strong ?Perhaps.I reckon in an emergency , you know , getting robbed by 4 gangbangers? Naw, cheap plastic case with super strong spring is a detriment.LolI reckon , $10 is $10.Great buy.Scrawny enough for your old lady, your daughter. Yes, but her two.Any smallish child ? Yes.5 year olds and below might not have the strength to push that button. But that's a good thing, most likely although, I know some responsible enough.Buy it.Scrawny though it may be.Buy 10 or so.Price might go up.What?Cheers

Would buy again
Once you lose an expensive dive knife. You start thinking twice. I would buy this again. But two of them at the same time taught my kids how to dive. This is a handy little inexpensive utility knife. I wouldn't go prying on anything too rough. It's not gigantic but it's perfect to attach to your vest or your leg.

You won’t loose the cheap knife...
Come on guys, you know you ARE going to loose them no matter how expensive knives they are, 10 bucks Knife, in for 3, very good value, shaprnening is really up to the user. These are very OK knife. (Surprisingly, when I buy cheap knives, I don’t lose them....) so locking is a 10/10

Excellent value for your money.
I have been using this knife for two years now after getting tired of losing expensive ones. I spearfish whenever the weather allows and use this knife to kill and gutter fish. After spearfishing, I always clean the knife with fresh water, dry it, and apply a very light layer of oil to it.I'm buying another today because the lock mechanism broke after two years of intensive salt water use.

Just fyi, I use this for protection against land sharks, and I love it! Sheeth doesn't slip and handle is comfortable.

Good knife considering the rock bottom price.
I have worn this knife on my BCD for 2 dives. It's sharp enought to cut cleanly through Paracord out of the box. I coated the handle of mine in plastidip for better grip and visibility of dropped. It's a fraction of the price of other dive knifes. Time will tell if it holds up. I put a thin coat of wd 40 on mine before and after dives.

solid knife
Anyone who complains about the sea water rusting the knife hasnt grasped the concept of Salt Water + Steel = Rust. It is a good solid knife and so long as you keep up with it it will last you a long while, wash it off with fresh water and wipe it down with 000 steel wool after dives. Keep it oiled too. The case is great and can be done with one hand despite what other reviews may say. Straps are of good length for an adult, fits comfortably on the calf.
