Organic Sencha Green Tea, Loose Leaf 6-Ounce Tin

I love this tea. I gave it 5 stars because it has really excellent flavor and is fresh. I am definitely planning on buying this again when I need more. However, I hope that before I order again, they improve the mailer that it comes in. When I have bought this before, it came in a secure cardboard wrapper. This time, the cardboard wasn't even sealed shut. The sides just opened without any tape or glue. Anyone could have just pulled out the sides and taken the contents. It was so insecure, I was glad the tins had not fallen out. I had ordered 3 tins because I use this tea a lot. Every tin this time had a minor dent in it. The tins had tape on them to seal them shut, and the contents weren't damaged in any way. The damage wasn't major, but I was disappointed that the mailer wasn't more secure. The tea is wonderful. I just hope they use better packaging when they send it next time.

The tea is good for the price -- considering the freshness, smell and taste-- way much better than general green teas in the tea bags available in grocery stores. Some suggestions: the origin of the tea and production date should be added to the labeling; a better sealing could be used to keep the tea fresh; consider higher quality tea for higher price.

It has very average or below average green tea taste. Not a typical Sencha specific taste as one would expected. Also it have larger light green leaves – not a typical thin darker green Sencha leaves. Definitely disappointment for somebody who would expect quality Sencha tea.

Meh. The label is of no use whatsoever - doesn't have organic certification or tell oriigin of the tea, or even the type of tea it I contains.

The origin of the tea is unmarked -- it seems to be produced in China, in which case the tea should be avoided at all cost. It smells like the cheap generic tea people give away in China. I am sending it back for a refund.

Great green tea for a good price! Definitely give this a try if you're a loose leaf drinker. This is a small growing company but it definitely tasted much better than better known companies.

The tea is smooth and goes down nicely. The price is great as well. One of the best green teas I've had. Can't wait to buy another tin!

Very earthy flavor. It is mild and has no bitter after taste, which often is the case with this type of tea. Highly recommend.
