I love the way they look. It looks as though I’ve installed skylights in my office. The reaction people have when they first see them is hilarious - they are so surprised! I personally feel calmer in my office than I ever have before. But I am also excited to report that my employees have said the same types of things about them too!I am in charge of a large IT team. We deal with a lot of stressful technical issues and personnel issues. Plus, we live in a grey and dreary area near the Great Lakes that has really long winters and really short summers.I have two lights in my office that I put these into and everyone who has noticed them thinks they are so cool. One of my senior employees came to my office to see me about some disciplinary issues this week, and after we talked, he sat back in the chair and said “I feel more relaxed after coming in here today.” And then he looked up and said, “I wonder if it’s because of the clouds. I actually think they’re making me feel calmer.”Several of my employees have commented on my office feeling calmer now that I’ve ‘installed skylights’ in my office (LOL). Others are envious and they think I need to get them put into all of the light fixtures.These were super simple to ‘install’. No harder than laying a very large sheet of thick paper onto a table that’s positioned above your head.These are quite thick and durable. I was extremely happy by the fact that even though they arrived rolled up like a tube, they flattened right out immediately and there are no curled ends or any lifting-up edges. They really are quite perfect and truly simple to put in.They darken the room quite a bit tho, so I’m considering getting brighter bulbs.

I got these light covers for my daughter who is a teacher at an elementary school. She reports that "They were very easy to install and they make such a big difference in filtering the glare of the overhead lights. The energy in the classroom is much calmer. The students have not complained of headaches (Students regularly complain about getting headaches from the glare of the florescent lights. Some of the students comments as they walked into the classroom were: "Whoa". "Awesome:, "That's so cool" and "wow, we got an upgrade".

I cut these down to fit the light fixtures in my office. Very easy to cut with scissors or a rotary cutter. I installed them about 6 months ago, and I am very happy with this purchase. They let plenty of light through, but block the awful fluorescent glare. I get lots of compliments on them. Well packaged, quality product.

Loved it! It immediately made my internal office more inviting and lowered my stress level within minutes of installing it. I bought this one and the Cloud 008 together so that it would look more realistic.The installation wasn't difficult, just a bit cumbersome - we had to take the plastic diffuser and frame completely down from the ceiling, unscrew the edge of the frame in order to get the cloud flexible material placed within the frame, but NOT on the inside of the original diffuser. I initially laid it above the original plastic diffuser, but the pattern on that diffuser showed through the cloud diffuser. I had to use celophane tape to make the back side of the clouds stick to the bottom side of the original diffuser in the frame in order to secure it so it wouldn't fall into the room. The film is very thin and easily scratches so be CAREFUL when you're installing it not to marr it.The second photo shows the original plastic diffuser pattern showing through the clouds. It's slight and I don't mind it because it's only around the edges of the frame.

The Cloud 001 Octolight looks beautiful in my florescent ceiling light at work. I have received MANY of compliments on the sky. It definitely removes the harshness of the florescent light. The only issue is that it makes the room much darker than I expected and now requires that I add more lights to my office. I was able to place it on the bottom/underneath part of the fixture (laying on the frame). I would have had to go through channels for approving it on the inside of the fixture due to the possibility of a fire hazard; even though it mentions the fire rating on their website.

I have 3 fluorescent lights in my counseling office and never thought about how harsh the lights are for both my students and myself. The picture shows 001 clouds and all my students remark how cool and realistic it looks. One of my students was like, “Woah! This is so relaxing!” It is like my own sky light since I have NO windows in my office. Love it so much that I ordered 2 more for the other fluorescent lights in my office. Easy to cut and install. They literally just slide right behind the light cover. Highly recommended!!!

Although awesome...beware not to get a wet washcloth near them cause the inks will smudge and smear as I just had moved and things were a ll over and well one got smudged before I could install so I think the company should put a big warning sign do not get wet or try to wipe install immediately or leave in box until ready

This can transform any (SQURE) fixture in to a skylight but my only complain is, it's about 1-1/2 shorter than the actual cover on my fixture, it requires the existing cover as a support because this material is not strong enough to hold on to the fixture. My purpose is to remove the fluorescent bulb and install LED stripes in two 2x2 fixtures after blocking off an arch living room window, this will serve as a skylight during day time using DC solar power, another two were placed in a hallway for the same purpose except the two already have LED stripes, in this case existing stripes and connections are left as is and additional stripes are installed and connected to solar power for daylight, when the sun is up the house is bright, when the sun is down we can still use the other LED light, this is pretty much two different lights within one fixture , this cover made it possible for us. If you are handy person you will love this conversion as no technicians will waste few hours fitting LED stripes in a fixture for you. I highly recommend this product to any home owner who wants to transform their existing light fixtures.
