prevents unwanted scratching!
These are a TINY bit too large for our kitten but they fit for the most part. She’s growing quickly and even now, about 4-5 days after application they already look a lot better than the attached picture. I didn’t apply these myself, I had a groomer put them on. Only one has popped off but it was just due to her chewing on them while she got used to them at first. Now they don’t seem to bother her at all, they’ve stayed on firmly and they’re super cute. They’ve kept her from scratching up our furniture while she figures out what is and isn’t okay to scratch. So grateful for these and we will definitely continue to use them!

These are amazing furniture savers!
I have been using "caps" on my kitties nails for years now. It finally occurred to me to order them online! These work well. If you are patient with your cat this is easy to do. I do it in steps. 1st trim the cat's nails one paw at a time and give them breaks in between. Then I prepare the nail caps for 1 paw at a time. I only do the front paws and I only do the front four nails. I don't do the fifth nail. I lay them all out and I fill them with glue. This is the critical part.. DO NOT put too much glue!! All the people on here that were complaining that it burnt their cats nails and it burns their skin too... is because they are using too much glue! Do not put too much glue in. If you put too much in, suck some of it back out. Make sure you can still see some air in there and don't completely fill it with glue. Lay them all out and get your cat comfortable. I usually sit them on my lap scoot into the table and put the one paw that we're going to do on the table. Then I pushed the nails out and I put 1 nail cap on at a time and squeeze it together to make sure It adhears. When we finish that paw I let the cat down and give him a treat. Then I sit and prepare the other 4 nail caps and repeat the process. Also we away use the medium. You don't want the cap to cover anymore than just the cats nail. Try them on first and make sure they fit before you fill them with glue. This will also give you a chance to practice doing it so that you'll feel comfortable with it the 1st time. If your cat doesn't cooperate then I strattle the cat so it can't move and try to get all 4 on one paw. Then reinforce with a treat. More you go through this process, the easier it will become for both you and your cat.. Good Luck!

Learn from me :)
I have gotten nail caps down to a science, heres what I do:1) Put them on before breakfast or dinner, so they will be too fixated on the wet food after to mess with their nails.2) Wrap the cat in a blanket like a purrrito to help keep them still while applying.3) Put glue in caps, and then clip the nails so the glue can begin to get tacky.4) Apply nails and hold onto the cat for 30 seconds after, then feed your cat immediately. The nails should dry completely while they eat.Now for the review: The caps work great, stay on well, fun assortment of colors, great price. They have however broken at the tip from using her scratching post. They are still functional, but now instead of a rounded tip, it is flat. No biggie, just doesn't look as great.

Save your furniture, buy these!
My cats ruined my old furniture and it was so embarrassing, that my cat loving friends, is not a reality that we have to be forced to live with! I recently moved and now have new furniture which of course I didnt want them to ruin so I looked at my options. Declawing was not one of them. I came across these and the reviews seemed promising so I bought them. Application was a little intimidating. I have three cats, the fatties were actually the easiest to do due to food motivation. I swaddled each cat into a blanket to protect us from flying claws. With the assistance of my sister, one of us held while the other trimmed. After trimming we gave them food and pets and filled all 10 of the caps with the glue. Sliding them on was easy, just be careful to not get the glue stuck to your finger or their fur. Glue dried fast once on and the kitty was pissed for a good 5 minutes but got over it after. My skinny cat was a little more difficult, we lightly held her scruff being careful not to hold too tight so we didn't cut off her air, mostly I just had my hand there to let her know not to run or bite. It has been about three weeks and all cats still have their caps. My boy chewed on his a little but I just trimmed the sharp of the nail flush to the cap and it still does its job. They still occasionally try to claw on things but this is making it so they can't snag anything and is also a good training tool because I can redirect them to the cat tree and give them a treat without being worried of accidents. Oh and by the way, the cats look freaking adorable :D

My cat said “No thanks!”
I was looking forward to using these nail caps when they arrived. Lots of cute, bright colors. I bought them to ensure that my cat wouldn’t scratch my 18 month old grand daughter when she played with him.I watched several videos and thought I was prepared. I got the first cap on (shown) without much trouble. Then Popcorn knew what was coming. He twisted and fought me, even after I put him in a towel burrito. I got one more on, but he wasn’t happy. He chewed and tried to flick them off. I stopped applying any more. The next morning, the poor cat had chewed off one of the nail caps and part of his nail. It never bled, but it was pink, irritated, and sensitive. I’m done with them. Popcorn seems relieved.I’d say that if you have a calm, chill cat, then these might work for you. If your car is lively and doesn’t sit still for nail trims, then think twice. I know many people use a friend to hold down the cat, but I can’t imagine him going through that for ten (or twenty) applications of the caps.I guess Popcorn will be that cool cat that walks around (inside) with just the one yellow nail done.

Cute and great results
I was able to put these on my cats back paw to prevent her from scratching open a small neck wound. I bought a size small and had to trim down the caps slightly to fit better, as the instructions suggest to do. That was easy and luckily I was able to install these without issue during her day nap. They look cute and so far seem to be helping her wound heal. One claw cap had been removed after 4 days, but I just reapplied another one yesterday.

Does the trick!
Super happy with these nail covers - they are easy to put on & as long as you hold your cat for a couple minutes afterward, they last for ages. She has had some of these on for 7 weeks. They are super cute, soft, and comfortable for the pet as well. She isn’t bothered by them at all, and still can scratch herself satisfactorily while saving my leather furniture.

Work great
We got these for our 5 month kitten who still has yet to properly use his claws. He runs around the house like a wild thing, jumping from one thing to another, up one leg, across the torso, then down the other, and up and down walls. Well, until we used these caps. Now he can play without getting stuck, without hurting us, and while saving the furniture. They seem to last as long as the nail grows. Just use enough glue. May take your cat a while to get used to them, so hold on while the glue dries. The colours are fun to change as the nails grow and they fall off. Most of all, our old cat is no longer worried about the new, young, smaller and faster cat being able to use his claws when he sneaks up for a surprise attack. All in all, everyone and everything in the house benefits from these caps. A great buy for the low price.

Cute
Took two of us to put them on but it was fairly straightforward and with lots of treats our cat didn’t mind too much.Pros- seem to be sticking fairly well so far. Relatively easy to put on (we’ll get even faster with practice) and he doesn’t seem bothered by them.Cons- random colours means we got a couple shades of pink that we probably won’t use for our boy cat. This is why I dropped my rating down to 4 stars. It’s only been a day but hoping they continue to work well!We just did the front paws but if he tolerates them well for the first few weeks we may add caps to his back paws too.
